Re: Looking to buy Condensor Dryer and need advice please!

The easiest way to avoid the condensation isssue is to buy a vented dryer and put the hose through the wall. Vented driers are genearlly more energy efficient, as well as being a damn sight simpler!

The future is black and white – the future is Penguins.

Good luck, let us know how it works out.

If they don’t sign up, we’ll send Gegsy round…..

My mate Dave signed up, and didn’t twig he had to ask for trade access and I did it for him, Dave’s spotted “Knowlesie” tonight and invited him in, yet I seem to recall that I just sent in the company details with my registration and got set loose straight away.

How about a box in registration for trade or public – tick the box for trade and it goes to a “Fill in your company details here” routine?

    Chris.

Ah, deep and profound joy – the blue tube problem. If you are very lucky, you can remove the blue tubes (and the little black one), flush them absolutely clean under the tap and it’ll work. If you’re not QUITE so lucky, you will need to remove the front lower cover and find the skinny clear and pink tubes and blow back through their mounting spigots. If you’re REALLY unlucky, the horseshoe hose right at the bottom underneath will have to come off and be cleaned.

Apart from that, it’s dead easy.

Power off obviously :plug: , if you’re not sure what I’m talking about, get pro help.

    Ray,
It’s bad enough with the penguins without bring the bloody sheep into it (they were last week, a bit further down the forum IIRC).

Rise up my feathered brothers and slay the human oppressors (if the sheep to join in that’s fine by me).

Anyway, Gegsy – what do you call four sheep tethered at an Anglesey lamp post? Is it a – Leisure Centre…………..?

    David,
If you are sure that the pump chamber and sink coupling are both clear, the only thing left is the fill/empty matrix on the left hand side of the machine. As this is located under the side panel I cannot honestly recommend that you try and strip it.

Maybe time for an engineer. If you’re going to have a look, pull the plug first :plug: .

Inch of water across the floor of the machine, or inch of water left in the hole where the filter sits?

    Graham,
We’re going to need the serial number as well – there are 3 variants.

Also please note that gas parts should only be fitted by a CORGI registered engineer.

Re: Gay rights for Penguins !!

OK, so here’s how it works. 150,000 – 250,000 penguins meet for 3 months every year for a helluva dinner party. They all wear dinner dress. Trouble is, so do the ladies. Now after that much entertainment, I challenge ANYONE to detect the male or female of the species. Especially for the blokes, as we all know what extreme cold weather does to the male extremities………

Penguins mate for life, or until one partner gets eaten by a seal – this can be organised. There is a famous Disney wildlife film with all the lads standing about on the edge of the ice, wondering who’s going in first. Big penguin flippers little penguin in to see what happens, then they’re all off. Unfortunate liasons can be “resolved” in this fashion.

But, Hey, someone dumps a baby on your lap, however it happens – you do the right thing. Does it matter if Dad’s called George and Mum’s called Nigel? They’re there for life, which is more that some of the pink hairy things in the Parkas manage to do!

Also bear in mind that Penguins are birds, they’re the last remnants of the dinosaurs, all giant teeth and testosterone – there’s bound to be a residual memory when the oppression gets too much.

    You have been warned………….

And if you believe any of that little lot, you probably believe what’s printed in the Sun and the Sunday Sport. :rotl:

    Re: Hoover Softwave 1100 washer/dryer

P/no 09077165 – about £8 from memory. The model number is on a label around the door opening and will start “A8—“. It’s also on a label on the side of the right side of the machine and a rating plate on the bottom rear. However, the part number is 99.99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} likely to be correct.

Check, then contact spares@ukwhitegoods.com and it’ll get sorted out.

Are you actually getting circulation in that 90 seconds? If it does pump and then cut out it would suggest that the motor cut-out is operating OR perhaps the relay on the board is suffering?

    Strip down and inspect time.

    Regards,
    Chris.
