I might be missing something here. Type the user name into Permissions on pHp admin, all forums are denied, hit Submit and he should be barred, yes?

Sorry, as you’ve probably realised I’ve been really struggling with time over the past few weeks, so if I’m doing it wrong, please advise.

    Re: whirlpool dishwasher error code

There is no guarantee that the following information is correct, as your machine does not appear on the current Whirlpool tech disc. Probably a regional thing.

4 flashes means no drop in water level detected in the time allowed. Three things could be happening.

1/ If there is water standing in the machine, you have a blockage or a drain pump failure. If it’s coupled to a sink spigot, check that as well.

2/ The Water Indicator is full of fat and is jamming in the full position. Remove lower basket and all filters, look into the sump at the 3 o’clock position and you should see a black grid. Behind it is a rubber diaphragm and a light-action microswitch. It fills with fatty deposits. You can try using very hot water and a toothbrush to scrub the thing clear – it often works; you may have to remove it for full access. It’s a twist fit from underneath.

3/ The microswitch itself may have lost its “spring”.

THIS is what you’re looking for. Probably best to source it locally – postage to NZ might be a bit steep.

Piccie should help you with the layout under the machine.

Stay safe, power off before removing any panel.

Re: Replacement wash pump for Homark 02-900500 dishwasher

You could try searching under Servis or Homark model 4400. There was a Whirlpool version as well. Last time I saw the wash pump listed was on eSpares – whether they have residual stock or not, I’m afraid I have no idea.

It was a one-off product, so there is no like for like replacement.

    Good luck,

Thanks, John. Us Yorkies are just like you Scots, but we’ve had the generosity beaten out of us.

Just how do you find the time chris? along with running a business, spending evenings checking out the ale, keeping a wife and kids happy as well as the most important part of your work, answering all those queries on UKW.

It was a bit of a horror, wasn’t it?. It’s my 50th birthday soon, so this my birthday present to me. Nothing like a bit of motivation to get things done.

Noooooooooo. No, no, no, no. High days, holidays and a bit of fun – that’s what it’s for.

Oi! That’s a 100mph motor and drives like a gigantic mini. It eats MGBs.

Standard unleaded, with a lead substitute. I have got a V18 performance head to fit, which I shall have converted to lead free with the exhaust valve inserts. When the budget allows. :rolls:

It’s been a real slog. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it and I’m not doing it again soon. The twins are already nattering that I have to buy them a mini to restore ready for them learning to drive. If I do, they’re doing it.

    Cheers all,
    Chris.

Article HERE explains the basics, LJ. Substitution is often the only way ahead.

This particular one is a dead cert module failure.

For proper access, the whole door front and control panel should be removed, so the answer is all of them. Remove plug as well.
