Outer door glass is p/no 548625. Last time I needed one (couple of years back), it was about £55, which is not bad for this kind of component. Contact spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk with that part number for an updated price/availabity etc.

Re: Electra AWM 900B washing machine

Filter is behind the little door bottom right.

Standard fault on these was the electronic motor control board. There are three different ones depending on the age of the machine. The board has a number printed on it, starting 546——, which is the actual part number of the component. spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will be able to get you one promptly if you wish to keep the machine going.

Pull the filter first and see what happens.

Door latch microswitch used to have a bad habit of melting on these. That’ll stop it dead.

Power off if you’re going to investigate this yourself.

No optical sensor on this one. Water indicator (black grid) or flow meter likely suspects.

    Welcome to the asylum.

It’s a Merloni-built machine, so think Servis. Door lock is a timer function, everything else is pcb, so that’ll be the culprit. 546 number on the pcb label is the part number.

Crimp-on rings for the heater. Give him a pair of 90 degree circlip piers.
