Re: what benifit would i get with a ise10 compared to a ise2

If you’re on your own, the ISE10 is a beautiful piece of work, but probably more than you need. 10 year warranty is very comforting, engineering is outstanding, it’ll last 20 years even with family use.

The 2 machine offered excellent value for money in it’s class; value for money spares after the warranty period should ensure a reasonable service life but it’s not in the same league as the 10.

Oh, and there’s none left. Currently discontinued due to the exchange rate problems. The 5 machine is a nice compromise…….

76X4860 is the part number. Can’t find a price… It’s Brandt, so prepare to be terrified.

I *think* it’s the pump driver (triac) failure on the pcb. Can be pressure switch related.

    Re: Tecnik TKD7000

No info on this product. Constant drain would suggest that a flood protection system is in operation. This is usually a float in the base tray. If water leaks into the tray, the float operates a switch which over-rides the programme and switches the drain pump on.

Drag it out, cut the power and tip it to one side. If you get water on the floor, the machine has leaked into the base and you need to find the leak.

Re: Whirlpool D/Washer ADP4504 – Motor Hose Spare?

It’s parts rationalisation. The Askoll motor is not a service item ‘cos it’s rubbish and they know it, so that’s replaced en bloc by the CESET motor. If the outlet hose kit for that motor is available, a part number would be useful.

Solenoid is directly switched by the pcb. Assuming continuity from the pcb to the solenoid, the pcb is at fault.

Check that the door latch is actually in the open position – machine cannot be reprogrammed if the door latch is in the closed position.

As far as I can tell, the last part number was 99000903, but it’s a long time obsolete.

    Re: Hygena APL8224 overfills

Three big hoses run across the bottom of the machine. These fill with sludge and will cause the water level control to behave strangely. You say that it fills for 20 minutes – this is an absurd amount of time. Are you sure that the machine is not syphoning the water away?

Entirely possible that the pcb has left the building – THIS is also worthy of consideration, though.

    No straightforward answer, I’m afraid.
