There are retaining screws behind the kick panel. That’s held by two screws. Get rid of that, then you can access them. Once undone, it’s a lift and pull to release the panel.

Yersss – see what you mean about the binary code. Well, all the E6- codes relate to temperature issues, so I suppose that’s somewhere to start. 🙁

Re: Hotpoint WT940 – Wrong Pump?

The switching triac for the pump will have failed in the “on” position, which is why the pump is running continuously. Triac is part of the main pcb, so you either work out a board level repair or replace the board.

Re: Candy C1260 – Not Draining

Drag it out. Pull the plug. Stick drain hose in the washing up bowl and drain the machine. Tip it back and locate the drain pump. You will have to remove the pump cover and see if there is an obstruction – coins can cause an intermittent problem. If there is nothing there, you will need to fit a replacement pump. THIS is a suitable replacement.

    Re: Whirlpool AWM029 – door lock/unlock problem

Remove plug. Slip band from door seal. Unhook door seal from front panel. Undo the two screws for the door lock. Undo three screws at the bottom of the front panel and it will fall off, revealing the lock.

Re: Indesit w93 programmer is doing the waltz!

PCB is sending power to the motor, but it thinks that it is no responding. Check drive motor carbon brush gear, check wiring to motor and pcb – if all in circuit, the pcb is the culprit.

Power off if you intend to do this yourself.

It appears to be one of the Chinese machines. This sounds like a pcb failure.
