Burnt out relay joint on pcb is almost a gimme, failing that tube heater or the plug into it are always quite entertaining to sort.

It’s a Brandt, so the water level system is the most likely culprit, combined with the three hoses that run sideways across the bottom of the tank being sludged.

Waterwheel in the chamber has a magnet in it. The water flow spins the wheel, moving the magnet past the reed switch on the pcb, which will then open and close. PCB counts these as part of fill monitoring.

The filter blocked error code normally relates to the high pressure switch above the outlet from the circulation motor – fills up with gunge and won’t switch.

The condenser is the metal monobloc which you pull out and clean regularly. Water collects under it and runs to the back. The hole in the collection chamber joins to the moulding right at the back. Helo is (rightly) suggesting that you reach in and scrape out any fluff manually – as well as poking the hole through.

At that price, it would be a false economy not to change the drum support. 10mm play suggests that the front bearing has, or is about to, collapse. It will almost certainly disintegrate when you drive the shaft back through the drum. This will leave you with the inner race seized onto the shaft.

The brass bush is integral with the drum support and is what the water seal runs against. It has to be immaculate to ensure a water-tight seal.

You’ll need THIS LITTLE LOT, as well as THIS. You may also need the heater if the drum has clipped it.

It’s an hour’s work to a professional. Front of the machine comes off, then the front of the tub. It’s really a question of whether or not you are confident wielding a lump hammer and steel bar – this is a physical job!

Re: Indesit IS70C Condenser Dryer Not Collecting Water

Is water actually getting into the pumping chamber? You could add water manually to the chamber, drop the pump back in and see if it lifts. If it does, the pump is fine and you need to clear the inlet channel as outlined in my first reply. If it doesn’t, the pump is knackered and you’ll need a replacement pump.

There are early and late versions, so serial number will be required.

What’s the matter with it? That motor is virtually indestructible.

Quite sure both elements are heating? Checking the supply only is firstly dangerous and secondly doesn’t tell you whether the relevant heater is actually working. Only a resistance test will tell you that.

Power off. Remove pump assembly. Rod out inlet channel at the left of the sump. Sorted – assuming that the pump runs?

You could always check the coupling to the sink spigot (if appropriate).
