Re: how do you deal with non payers?

We have had write to off depts.
It would drive me mad, we allways tell customer our prices and we take cash or cheque but they would wait until we finished then say they have to go to the cash machine.
It’s better now we take cards, izettle is small and links to the phone.
We deal with a lot of letting agents and you have to accept they
Take up to 2 months to pay, most OK
But some would let some payments drag on for several months
Normally jobs we had to write off machine and landlords not so happy to pay.
So those agent we put our labour charge up £15 and in a box at bottom of invoice “reduced to ……. If we receive payment by (date 2 months time) it seems to be working.

Thanks for getting back to me, I did blow down the pressure hose which felt fine but I probably should have had a proper look shouldn’t I. It has a analogue pressure switch do these cause these sorts of problems? I notice they are a stock item with connect

Re: fitted new door seal to beko washing machine

If it’s a tear where it seals on the glass, this is caused by user leaving parts of clothing between
Glass and seal and when machine starts it pulls clothes in causing lip to tear.
So not a fault with seal but user not pushing clothes all the way in.

Is it a long way away is that why you will not go and look at it, if they have damaged the seal
Do job at a reduced price and take a deposit, if it’s a diffrant fault I would not charge labour after only 3 weeks unless it is their plumbing.

Yes cleaned condenser when bearings done.
I am taking it back to customer, it does dry but I feel it takes longer then it needs to
Because water not coming in all the time,
This is an expensive machine yet it does not have senser drying only timed.

Re: Neff W/D, on dry,no water in

    Yes it was wet clothes.
Now it started to intermittently comes on, but surely water should be going to condenser all the time dryer is on.
what’s strange is it also spins occasionally on dry

Went back today and couldn’t get door closed with bolts in, but user really slams it and is able to close it, Never had any with non genuine seals I think I will stick with them.

I offered them both gaskets and said the patent one was good but was surprised when he wonted genuine one. It’s an old machine.
