    Re: Miele w/d remove condenser

I took the condenser unit off and cleaned it but I couldnt get the top of the heater manifold off, it was glued too well.

I took the machine back afew days ago and have recieved no complaints as of yet, maybe they only use it on cotton dry.

The trouble with Miele machines, they take too long to repair and I have a fixed labour charge. On other machines a long job, you just earn more on the parts but I have difficulty getting a discount on Miele parts and they are too expensive to put too much on top.

    Re: meile w/d remove condenser

I now have a new problem. Can you help?

    Ill start at the begining

Originally Fluff stopped the fan and I made an access hole through the plastic manifold at the top and shifted fluff and freed the fan.

But now on minium iron, drying overload light flashes at end before the clothes are completely dry, and I have had wash light flashing and spinning when on drying programme.

Thanks for your advice, I removed the condenser, the fear of doing it was worse than actually doing it, bent rear shell lip back and removed the valves.

But there was no blockage and I still have drying overload light flashing.

    Have you got any suggestions?

Wow so quick, thanks everyone i took the back and bottom panels off, managing to get the fan off too and then run out of time before taking the motor housing off so sounds like i was nearly there. Thanks for the advice what did i do before i found out about this site? :lesson: do these pumps not working cause the leaks on these?

    Re: tight customers

I allways Give a Price Before I start
But they can agree and still not pay if its a women in a poor ethnic group they expect their husbond to handle all the money,
Had a customer who was a drug addict who said yes he would pay me no problem
but after persistent questioning he didnt have it at the moment but it was c
    oming, well i was going
A friend had a traveller who got called urgently to the hospital and no one else could pay him well he didnt get paid
I wont remove parts but i have said theirs something still wrong and pulled a block connecter off and made sure its not obvious
We have a set labour charge so we dont get much about the price

Yes it worked but i dont know how long it will last,
Somebody has told me a better way
Drill and put screws through frame and tub,
they are hiddon by gasket and you can bend original one back in place

    Re: Hotpoint wf430

Thanks for the advice i will check that although i think this is different as the interlock is locking and this is a newer hotpoint that is similar to indesits with the module at the back and the small plastic back plate to get at it.

    Re: LG making strange noises

Thanks for the advice that is interesting as this one is direct drive but she insists it never used to make that noise and that it sounds alot louder although never when i am there ❓ Thanks for telling me that does anyone know if changing the direct drive will cure it? or is my customer imagining things :hmm:
