ParticipantRe: Hotpoint Supermatic Twintub 1464
It IS leaking from under the tub but given the rust around the tub seal I assumed it would be this. Do you really think the top hat sprong loaded counter face is the culprit? Presumably if it is then it wouldn’t leak until the water level reaches it whereas the tub seal would leak almost immediately there was water present.
What part number do you have Phil?Chris

Looking at Connect and Qualtex it seems I can still get some things so I am forever hopefull! 😛 I also have old stock of certain gaskets but I can’t remember what was what it was so long ago!! :rolls:

ParticipantRe: BT Fair Usage Policy
Funny you should say that Steve. I had checked my Orange terms and conditions late last night to find exactly the same. BT had never had this policy before though and to bring it in quietly with small print is going to catch a number of people out I suspect at the next round of bills.
With BT the 0845/0870 numbers are free also.Chris

Thanks Martin…I thought it was obsolete as well and then found three numbers but they didn’t explain which they were.
Thanks for that Bob. I’ll see what I can find.Chris

Thanks for that Martin,
I did wonder if the description meant the flat tube at the back which is why I wanted to check before I ordered.
Thanks again

ParticipantRe: AEG F50740 Dishwasher PCB
Loaf.
I have another dilemma now. The part you quoted was for the 911232589/01 and the 911232589/02. The machine I have is a 911232689/00. Assuming as you said that the 6 is wrong and should be a 5 when i check with the AEG site for 911232589/00 it shows a different PCB number 1110998745. When i price it up its about £30 cheaper. I am not going to hold you to this but do I assume the suffix 00 is correct and go for this earlier cheaper pcb or do I chance it and go for the more expensive later PCB? I am thinking about getting the earlier one as I am assuming that it is only one digit wrong in the PNC.
Have you known the suffixes to be incorrect as well?Poppins
ParticipantRe: AEG F50740 Dishwasher PCB
Thanks for that Loaf. I was beginning to tear my hair out as none of the sites I was using would identify the F50740 model and only the F50750 model. I don’t have direct access to AEG spares and so it was beginning to get frustrating as i knew this machine existed and of course with the PNC number being incorrect it wasn’ helping!

ParticipantRe: AEG F50740 Dishwasher PCB
Just tried the Zanussi website to see if it was a clone but that also says that it should be a F50750. Have I come across the only 50740 in existence! The push buttons are in a different place so it can’t be the 50750 pcb 😕

ParticipantRe: WTA / UKW SEPTEMBER 2010 MEETING
Thank you to those who helped organise this meeting in whatever way you did. It was my first meeting and I found it very informative. It was enlightening(!) to put names to faces. So brilliant also to be able to talk to representatives of CDSL, Qualtec etc
Thank you to all involved
Cheers

ParticipantRe: Zanussi ZWC1300W – module or door interlock?
Hi Mick,
Oh that’s annoying and bad luck for you! It would have been nice to have got to the bottom of it. Thanks for the update anyway. I was curious as I have had a similar thing happen to me in that the Zanussi machine was giving strange symptoms which pointed to either the motor or the PCB. Customer decided that they didn’t want to spend money on getting it resolved which was understandable.
At least they went for an ISE instead! 8)

Thanks Pup,
I’m going to have another look tomorrow. Did the faulty motor in question show any insulation failure?

Just seen your thread.
Well done for keeping the Z919 going. They are great machines. I recently got a Z918T going again for a customer. It’s nearly 30 years old. Very satisfying! 🙂
