ParticipantRe: Bosch WFO2465gb/01 – spin problem
Thanks for the report back.
It all helps in the greater understanding 🙂
Bosch’s seem to benefit from a change of motor when things are not quite right.Cheers

ParticipantRe: Bosch WFO2465GB/01 spin fault
Exactly, and the motor is testing ok and the whole machine is meggering ok. But i don’t understand why the cold valve is being triggered. I am suspecting that something is happening to the motor though and it is sending spurious signals to the PCB which is making it act odd or the PCB is duff of course. I changed the carbs using Bosch ones, which are a bit noisy, and tested the motor but didn’t have time for any more so I will be returning to it tomorrow to do a more thorough assessment
Never seen these particular symptoms before in any other Bosch or other make. My gut feeling though is its the motor.Poppins

Because I’m curious that’s why, i’m trying to do a bit of homework so that I don’t get accused of asking something that has already been asked!

Did you ever cure this fault?
I have the same model showing the same symptoms whereby the cold water valve is opened when ramping up to spin. Was it the motor in the end?Cheers

ParticipantRe: Bosch WAS24466GB/05 WM Reset Procedure
Tim,
When I go back I’ll try all of the procedures I have discovered so far.
Thanks anyway

ParticipantRe: Bosch WAS24466GB/05 WM Reset Procedure
Hi Tim,
Thanks for your reply.
That was the standard procedure I tried.
I have also tried turning the dial to one o clock and that didn’t work but I have just discovered in the related topics someone had used the 11 o clock position so i will be returning this afternoon to give that a go.We could do with a list of reset procedures stuck at the top of the technical forum particularly for these Bosch/Siemens machines. Is that easy to do Mods?
Cheers Chris

You’re right Steve!
I’ve just had a look through the welcome information and found the same thing. This is all new to me, so when I read the welcome info the first time around I thought it was all sorted out in the signed paperwork. Obviously not! :rolls:Apparently it says in the FAQ’s that this has only happened in the last three years which would explain why I didn’t know about it as we had our shop with a PDQ machine about 6 years ago now.
I’m going to have a go at registering now.
