ParticipantRe: ISE10 1607w in the house!
Hi david,
Glad the dryer isnt stacked now 😉
You obviously have to remember that there is a lot of metal in this machine rather than the usual plastic (rubbish), so it may be louder than your old machine, however mine is definitly quieter than my old servis. I prefer a bit of noise rather than have a ‘throwaway’ machine TBH. Is the noise really that bad?

Blimey 😯 fancy putting a tumble dryer on top of a machine without any fixings! I must say that with the 1607 i have the carcuss doesnt move or vibrate hardly at all, even at a 1600 spin, but i wouldnt even consider putting a tumble dryer on top of it and i suspect any engineer worth his salt wouldnt take the risk of installing an appliance in such a way :nono:
When i wanted something sorting, i must say the guys (especially ken and john) at ise ‘bent over backwards’ to help me. It only took a pm to ken and ‘bobs your uncle’ 😀
I put my machine on late last night, normal wash with 1600 spin, went on to bed and it never woke me or others in the house. I found the machine extremely quiet compaired to my old one 😀
I know this doesnt help your situation but i wanted to put forward another customers experience.

ps I must say i thought it meant that only the ise10 dryer could be stacked and never thought anyone would put another brand on top 😯

Hi ken,
A very interesting read on the spin speeds etc :lesson:
TBH i personally found that it was a good idea to read the manual a couple of times to make ‘real’ sense of doing the ‘extras and add-ons’ :study:
best wishes

Hi don,
quick by name, quick by nature :rolls:
:help: There is a question i would like to ask about Bosch washers please, may be of interest to others too. When i was helping my mum purchase a decent washer (she only does 1 load a week so really her use didnt warrant an ise10, and with the longevity of the machine it may have outlasted her, i know awful, sure glad she hasnt got a computer!!) I asked my ‘old repairman’, retired now, how would i know the better quality bosch machines? He told me that the machines with actual model names e.g Classixx, Exel etc were the ones still made by bosch in germany, where as the machines with just numbers were manufactured else where. :hmm: Is this actually the case or is the answer only found in the numbering, as mentioned on here before somewhere? I am sure someone on here in the know will correct me/him if this is not true :lesson:
In the end mum/me went for the classixx which is now 3 years old and all ok so far.

hi,
ise only produce a commercial carcass machine now, which means the price reflects the quality. They used to do a ‘5’ range which was cheaper but the quality was obviously not that of the ’10’ therefore, as in the ‘title’ you only had a 5 year guarantee.
Shame you arent able to stretch to at least the ise10 washer as it is absolutlely superb  (here she goes again 😉 )
Best wishes

It is also good for opening the filter door without scratching anything 💡
Or a plastic picnic knife 😉

ParticipantRe: ISE 10 (1606) door catch
hi,
I am not sure about the 1606 model but the with 1607 i found that if i just keep pushing for that little bit longer, due to the door being connected to the drum obviously, that the latch/catch will ‘lock-in’ fine 🙂
I could not find a ‘knack’ as such, just tried it again now :rolls:
Probably of no use to anyone :rolls:

Hi jaunty,
Think you are right about the big drum, if you put a full load in it tends not to sound so ‘sloshy’ 😀
I am well pleased with mine, as you know 😉
The machine is definitely the ‘best of the best’ 😉
Best wishes

Neither would i 😀
Now i have driven a ‘rolls royce’ i wouldnt want to drive anything else 😆 (yes i know, another quickwash classic :rolls: )
People who have seen my 1607 have been very impressed. The ‘best’ bit that leaves them 😯 is the volvo bearing bit, it is an ideal ‘layman’ way to describe the quality 😉 Some of the other things i say about the machine get ‘ummm and nodding’ but i actually saw my neighbours eye widen about the over one million kilometres bit!

I did put SO FAR. 😯
Remember i own a 1607 😉
I will say this, if ise can keep me happy then that is a big achievement! If you asked my family or friends about how i am usually complaining and taking stuff back they would tell you how fed up they are of me always moaning about this ‘n’ that :rolls:
I would never ‘sing the praises’ of anyone who didnt deserve it!

hi all,
I have just opened my post and have received my 10 year Guarantee Certificate from ISE 😀
It gives the terms and conditions, there arent many considering it is for 10 years.
There is an accompanying letter thanking me for choosing an ise machine, they dont need to thank me as i am over-the-moon with it, which is from ken watt, director! This you can expect but in all honesty having a director answering posts on a forum would far surpass most other companies 😉 We have also had posts on here from john hopwood, MD!
All dealings i have had with ise (and ken) so far have been to their credit 😀
best wishes to all

hi all,
This is my opinion on thinking about the OP. The post mentions ‘in desperation’, so with that bit of knowledge i will assume that mum06 has never graced this forum before, therefore, she may never do again if the problem was sorted. I honestly think mumof6 would only post again if ise have NOT sorted her machine. That is in my opinion anyhow 🙂
If she sees all the posts then there is a chance i suspose, but that may depend on whether notifications go to her email.
kind regards

hi all,
Forgot to mention that i always try to dry out the powder drawer and compartment after each days washing as i think this is of great help in preventing that horrible black gunky stuff forming, (had that after using the liquids!) as i presume this is due alot to damp in the compartment.
The job of removing the powder drawer is easy on the ise10, if you just lift it slighty it comes out without that horrible crack that other washers seem to do :rolls:
I will do as ise10 customer review post at the weekend when i have used all the programmes 😉
