Tried that – the hose was actually not too bad (a few horrible smelly bits, but nothing that would have blocked the tube).

One thing I have just noticed – the machine is taking a very long time to fill – the water entering the top of the matrix is just a trickle.

I wonder if that’s part of the problem, and whether it’s the inlet valve that’s decided it’s had enough? I guess the downside is that being an AquaStop machine, replacing the value will probably be expensive.

    Hmmm…

    Thanks again,

    P.

Do you have the dishwasher plumbed in on the COLD water main or on the HOT ? – If it’s on the HOT then you need to get it changed to COLD – This will also cause what you are seeing.

Re: Replacing an Indesit WIDL 126S washer/dryer door switch

Sounds like you need a new “Door Interlock” this is situated behind the front panel. BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING POWER OFF & UNPLUG !!! – You’ll have to undo the retaining band for the door seal & this will give you access to the Interlock by reaching round past the seal now unscrew & replace with new interlock. Refit seal & retaining band. If possible conduct a mega-test (L>E then N>E & Earth Continuity from Earth pin on plug to chassis (If you have any test equip) If readings good then plug back in & Test – Everything should work now.

Hope this is OK – Stay Safe !

Any ideas on the Bosch Condensation Drain Hose Kit WTZ 1110? Is it a good idea to save on having to empty the condensate?

To me thats seems a bit lazy & can/does lead to not cleaning filters (x2 BTW !) – But it’s up to you it’s your drier & a very good choice too !

Buy any of the completely stainless tub SGS range – Open the door & ensure the tub base is stainless steel & not grey plastic. The stainless ones are the best – Trust me I used to work for them.
Oh & BTW make sure you clean your plates off before placing them in the DW as the filters aren’t great & debris will block the drain pump – Just trying to save you £££’s on Call-outs from BSH.

Re: Diplomat ADP 8902 overflowing, but no leak can be found

Ask a local appliance engineer (NOT a Plumber !) to come take a look as it sounds like you need the sidetank cleaning/replaced – Dishwasher cleaner won’t clear that.

Don’t know much about these but sounds like you’ve just solved it by mentioning that the Door Interlock doesn’t energise – Do you have voltage to door lock ? If you do it sounds like the door lock is burgered !
