ParticipantRe: NEFF U1661 Main oven problems
jlwah, you say the old element looked knackered but did you test it with a meter to test continuity? if it tested ok then a new element won’t fix the fault…

ParticipantRe: Zanussi F1256W – suddenly stopped working mid cycle
have you ever checked and cleaned out the filter? if its blocked or there is an object in there which stops the drain sequence then the machine will stop full of water as it isnt draining.

ParticipantRe: Bosch dishwasher driving me nuts
check top arm and water passage to it for blockage/s..also possible low water level or weak/failing main circulation motor.

try to help….today i called to fit a door opening handle on an indesit…he had taken the door off the machine, undone all the screws holding the inner and outer rim together and put them safe…somewhere…he was out his partner was in her jim jams….eventually she gives up looking and offers a drink…goes to fridge for milk and finds missing screws in butter dish…however no sign of anything to fit the hinge back on the machine..why didi you do this? we thought it would help because he said i needed a new door….she said….anyway, she says…he’s the worst DIY man in the world!!!! and he wants to help!!!! no thanks 😡 😡 😯 😯

ParticipantRe: To Charge or not to charge – that is the question
stuart, i’m with you on this one, good ,easy scheme, customer knows what to expect, no surprises..it’s alwasy difficult to argue the toss when you haven’t told the customer what to expect, “no call out charge” doesn’t mean “free estimate”
