    ive had this..is your start button non locking… if so change it…it worked for me but i cannot give you an explination why its a fix

    jlwah, you say the old element looked knackered but did you test it with a meter to test continuity? if it tested ok then a new element won’t fix the fault…

    have you ever checked and cleaned out the filter? if its blocked or there is an object in there which stops the drain sequence then the machine will stop full of water as it isnt draining.

    check top arm and water passage to it for blockage/s..also possible low water level or weak/failing main circulation motor.

    checked pressure switch..ok…blew through pressure pipe towards drum…ok…checked the programme selector and noticed that even when the selector was on a STOP position it still ran… sorry for this but now i can’t see the wood for the trees…

    martin, is the coreboard the one at the top righthand side behind prog selector?

    light flashes many times, sorry haven’t counted them …looked in UKW fault guide and could not find ref to this model/fault signals
    if not module what are options…motor,brushes, inlet valves, heater…please help if poss to narrow it down…i’ve ordered a board from emw just in case…

    try to help….today i called to fit a door opening handle on an indesit…he had taken the door off the machine, undone all the screws holding the inner and outer rim together and put them safe…somewhere…he was out his partner was in her jim jams….eventually she gives up looking and offers a drink…goes to fridge for milk and finds missing screws in butter dish…however no sign of anything to fit the hinge back on the machine..why didi you do this? we thought it would help because he said i needed a new door….she said….anyway, she says…he’s the worst DIY man in the world!!!! and he wants to help!!!! no thanks 😡 😡 😯 😯

    stuart, i’m with you on this one, good ,easy scheme, customer knows what to expect, no surprises..it’s alwasy difficult to argue the toss when you haven’t told the customer what to expect, “no call out charge” doesn’t mean “free estimate”
