Re: Which ISE Washing machine to get

So how do the ISE machines do it in 1hr 15mins wash if they cant use as much water as old machines yet other machines take over 2hours to do a wash.

ANy chance of a user manual for both machines please?

    oK

So what features does the AW23 have that the ISE10 doesnt have?

The ISE10 looks the same and seems to have the same features as the maytag washer thats over here at the moment.

So why wouldnt you get the maytag as they are in similar prices.

I live with one other adult.

Would be good to see some more photos of the AW23 perhaps inside the drum etc.

So if Asko make the maytag new models of washer why not get a maytag as they are the same really?

    Price is similar also.

    Hi Penguin

    I am in Crossgates, Leeds.

Which is the best machine the ISE5 or the ISE10?

They both seem to have the same features but the ISE5 has a water plus option to increase water in each wash. Whereas the ISE10 only has an extra rinse option.

How much for each machine and delivery.

    Kind regards
    Richard.

What does the steam light symbol show?

    Is it water droplets?

This could mean that the rinse aid compartment is emtpy.

hes an engineer, there washer had noisy drum bearings and it went on for 2 yrs before they said enough is enough and bought another!!!

Can you check your manual and see if it has a user accesible filter as couldnt see one.

Im thinking I should get this cleaned out before I install it in my kitchen.

I was thinking of getting a new one anyway when mine goes but my Dad says it could go on another 2 yrs with the drum being noisy its whether you can put up with the noise.

So I think I will get the £40 one and see if anyone wants to buy mine for spares.

I think it took about 30minutes for the main wash cycle on a 40C non colourfast.

What do you mean switch the heater off? How do I know if its smooth, it didnt have any resistance if thats what u mean.

Re: Hoover Eco Wave Plus 5 11000 Autowasher

Just updated the post with the correct model and serial number etc.

    Does this tell you anything?

My current washer is a Hoover Six Express 1300 – WDM130 Washer Dryer. Had it about 7 years. Used the dryer probably once.

My neighbour has just let me do a wash in it.

I noticed that it fills with a lot more water, my current washer when I put a large load in the clothes dont move around properly because it uses so little water.

THe Eco wave plus uses more but the main wash cycle seems to only last about 20minutes on a non coloured fast cottons 40C.

Surely thats not enough to get clothes clean.
