had one this morning xmas eve told her i would be there am. when called no answer,left card she called the office she didnt expect me to call so early 8:30am :rolls: .asked if i could go back i ok’d it for the afternoon she wanted a rough time i said any time when i called guess what SHE WAS OUT 👿 . card thru the door and thats her oven screwed for xmas lunatic.

checked carbons fine. i have uplifted machine and had a quick look it does lock but nothing else unless you put it on dry when the heater comes on but nout else i aint gone further at the mo as had no time but looking tomorrow. any pointers i am thinking broken wire any weak spots.

i have a smeg built in doing exactly the same aint checked the brushes but have pump etc. it is a w/pool awg329 badged as a smeg.i will check carbons as well cheers.

similair to this thread i got accused of being a rip off by a guy for fitting a new drain pump. the problem was no empty and there was a hair band wrapped around the impellor i changed the pump and charged accordingly. he said i should have unwrapped the tightly wrapped hair band and refit, i explained if he wanted to do this then fine but he would have been charged the labour rate and if the pump failed tomorrow he would have to pay the full amount again parts and labour. do you just change the pump or remove obstruction?.

spoke to my suppliers and they are saying there are 2 stats coming up no 081835800 spec order and 082359300 in stock i am guessing it is the second one can any one confirm this.

take the drip tray off or ase it down and there is a rubber spout. pull this off and throw it away the heat off the comp causes it to stick together causing water to build up on the base of freezer.
