    Yes Dave, forgot to mention it in the original post. It had a couple of towels straight out of the washing machine. Rob

    Mainly modules and a couple of Hotpoint timers. As they weren’t computer boards they put it as misc aluminium/steel scrap. I thought £22 was pretty good.

    Just taken a small box of modules to the scrap yard £22, and yes they are authorised

    Last year I got a licence, £150 for three years.
    I leave packaging with customers but get the parts. I got to a scrap dealers with machines although I keep motors and elements separately.
    In March I got £220 for elements and motors and machines get about £10 each.
    It’s all legal now so no worries and extra income.

    Thanks Squadman.
    I was only loading because I have just done a windows install, took 4 hours in all. I’ve found a link on an old thread to the Electrolux site which seems similar to TDS so I’m getting a smartphone to check that when out and about and will persevere with the TDS later. I had Reader 10 running but it had a fault apparently so that may have a bearing.

    Had a look online but so many it’s confusing so off to Carphonewarehouse Wednesday. I’m drawn to Sony Ericsson but will have a good rummage. What do you pay a month?

    OK I’ll admit I’m confused with all this technology but I need a new phone and my TDS won’t load onto my laptop and in my other post it’s mentioned about these devices. I’ve always thought a phone= a phone but I would like some tech info with me, so..
    Whats the cost?
    do they work from the start or are there extras to pay?
    are they easy to work?
    do they download tech info?
    and finally…do you reckon I could manage it?

    Tried it three times since it rested and it goes into big letters mode. Switched off and going to bed.
    I can use shop electrolux at home but want the disc for my travels

    Yeah George,
    Done every permutation but just going round in circles. I think last time it was XP service pack 2 in administrator that worked but it seems very hit and miss. Having about the 15th go now, the laptop has had an hors rest.
