Re: Summer music festivals – anyone out and about???

Hi ho hi ho, it’s off to V we go, with a shovel and stick and a rainproof Mac, hi ho hi ho hi ho hi ho.

Off to stay at a friends who lives near the Weston Park venue so we can get an early entry tomorrow morning.

Womens logic. Last year: Large estate car, five people, tents x 2 and everything we needed. A queeze but we did it.

This year I’m taking the van – you guessed it ! Everything was laid out last night and the amount of stuff she wants to pack is unbelievable. We’ve only got 3 nights but you’d think we were going for 6 months 😯 😯 Why do you need that many pairs of wellies !!

Jackal wrote:We already offer this service to clients as well as specific timed calls (ie 10:30am) and early morning/late evening calls if the cust requests them.

Usually though, in fact each time we ask them for the £200 payment off their card up front for the service they suddenly find a AM or PM call during the week is perfectly sufficient and the 13 or so kids can find something else to wear.

    Strange that.

I like that deposit idea 😀

I remember reading my contract for Comet and it quoted working “5 days out of 7.” It didn’t specify which days. When I asked the Centre Manager offering me the job about it, he said “although we only work every other Saturday with a week day off in lieu, the contract was flexible so that if Comet decided that they wanted to work on a Sunday it was already part of the employees contract”. That was 9 years ago !

Good but lots and lots of hidden costs. Reminds me of a certain Irish Airline. Be careful. Also, sign up to their offers and they come through thick and fast but you will get a better deal than paying their normal fees.

I noticed that about 3 days ago and thought I was going mad. Shame, it was a good source of exploded diagrams.

    Part number 79×3503??

Masterpart is £150+ but is OOS and list SIL 2.12DNB002130 as an alternative. Also OOS.

Might be worth trying a pattern but a lot of Brandt stuff is sold a lot cheaper in France.

This is one of many French sites selling them:
    http://www.indipc.fr/connectique,79×350 … -0.fr.html

Also, just try taking a couple of patterns with you and changing the motor if it the motor that’s faulty.

A quick image search shows it looks like a normal cooling fan.

Well done Jackal and glad you got your money Gerry.

Another + for UKWG as well because I know there are many of us (including myself) who would have been in Gerrys’ position had it not been for this forum. I too learn’t about “Golocal” in it’s various form from this forum. Well done all.

Now come on team GB, let’s see what you’re made of.

Preparing for V festival again and the boss insists on getting a portaloo (my description of a turdis didn’t go down well).

    However, I’ve found these.

Rediculously overpriced but funny all the same. :rotfl:

Go on have a look and smile 😉

Co-Op gives free banking for FSB members. (FSB Business Banking). I don’t know if the free banking will offset the FSB fees but it’s an option for people.

    Re: PCB componant identification

Had one a little while back. The triac and variresistor were very close together and the triac burnt a hole in the resistor. Hence I had the supply of them. Cause was a water leak onto drain pump.
