1703080 – shaft kit ver 4. You’re right. the pads now replace the 2 white wheels. (pullies)
When fitting the bearing pads do not fit one to the top left of the air duct/front drum support (when viewed from the back) modification number 999 to try and get them to work!!!!!! 😯 😯However, if at all possible, try turning the pullies around… done this a few times….seems to have worked..
check shaft has not snapped or shaft has not been torn from back of drum…both common.
Also, might just need a couple of m8 washers between shaft and back of drier (modification number 327…….))
Also these MUST be on completely level and even surface!!
If a very early version might need all modifications ….
Best of luck. you need it.

ParticipantRe: Hoover drum lifters
I’ve done it before on different models. Access the screw via the sump, remove the screw you can access and then very gently (from in the the tub), break up the lifter. Bear in mind there may still be another screw holding it in. You’ve got to be really careful not to damage the drum.
Fit the new lifter and put one screw in via the sump again. Not sure if it is the same for this model but this is easier than the drum out scenaria.Regards

ParticipantRe: Baumatic DW – BDW13
I’m sure it’s E3 as there was not water in the base. It just times out on the heating but does heat very slowly. I’ll let you know when I go back.
