I’ve just finished fixing this job of mine this morning. I’ve got a few pictures if you want them? It might help you. PM me.
It was as I diagnosed the bowl/drawer itself…the heater element had gone O/S.
I forgot to say. If you have a combi microwave above the warming drawer, it’s definately a two man job. Be careful you don’t catch the glass from on the warming drawer with the microwave. Also, the microwave has a clip in power connector so easy to disconnect the power but it’s heavy..40+kg
Good luck

It could be the pcb but it could also be the connector or the bowl (element being open circuit).

ParticipantTally100 wrote:Thanks, how do I check if it’s the connector that’s faulty
It’s a bit difficult due to the way it’s made but look for obvious burning around the connectors, loose or worn connectors. People quite often replace the coupling as they do wear and it rules out that fault. Part number for your is 00612218.
Yours is a different drawer/bowl than the one I’m working on so ignore the my reference to it. You’re bowl is still around £160sih but is OOS and special order from Maddocks. Bowl part number0772150. pcb12039425…ouch price…get it repaired if it’s pcb.Reading that forum, occasionally you get a double fault, pcb and bowl…double ouch.
RocketMan
ParticipantI’m awating on a bowl for one. It’s either the connector block, (like a kettle connector, quite common), the bowl (whole drawer) or the pcb.
Note, the pcb will not send power to the drawer unless it gets a connection so you can’t just check it properly from the back.
PCB can be repaired. https://www.avforums.com/threads/neff-warming-drawer-failures.2210819/ try here – very useful
The bowel/drawer comes out – 2 x screws and very easy job – simple check for conitinuity on the drawer heater/element.
To check the connector you need the whole thing out. If it has a microwave above it, remove it first, it will be damaged if you leave it on the screws holding it in.
Get back to me if you need help.
I’ve got a bowl/Drawer arrving tomorrow £160ish from Maddocks.. came in stock today..

Thanks Dave.
Leisure/Rangemaster are a nightmare with vast numbers of different model numbers.
I think it’s that one as well. I’ll go with that one. TVM

ParticipantHi All,
Back again, some oven, same issue still there after I replaced the NTC probe. Customer says it’s fine for normally ready meal cooking 15-25 mins. When she does longer time items like roasts – it still fails to maintain temperature.
I did ask the cust to check the fan motor. My thinking being after it’s heated up the bearing tighten up and it slows….just guessing but had it before.
I might have a look at the very simple pcb to see any obvious issues.
Anyone else any suggestions apart from leaving it outside for the scrappy?
I have had to replace Samsung ovens before due lack and/or price of spares….one of them was just outside warranty and no offer of help from Samsung. It’s an option I might have to put to the cust.
TIA

ParticipantThanks Dave.
I’m going to order the thermister. I’m awaiting the landlord getting back to me to. I told him I’ll hold no responsibility if damage is caused to the worktop or oven trying to get it out and back in.

ParticipantThanks don. Just trying to find one is bad enough but it looks like we/re going for another Liebherr.. I’m not allowed the orange one for some reason…:-)

ParticipantThe first thing I would do is check to see if the this on Bosch Dishwasher recall list. Your model number is on there but dates are important, FD7901 to FD8504.
If it’s within the date range get Bosch out. I’ve had a couple Bosch (and badged as Hotpoint) with various issues…mostly solved by Bosch replacing the control board.

I think you may have BLT9017 which is definately a 1200mm standard polyvee belt
Thanks. I think you’re correct. I don’t use Connect. A friend has a shop and things have gone wrong here. I’m going to order the correct belt 1200 EL J6. 3rd time Lucky. Thanks for you time.

I did give the correct part number to the shop that supplied me. I guess it looks like they’ve supplied a 1200 belt instead of a 1200 elasticated stretch belt.
