Gazz man wrote .If a customer tell me someone has been there before me, I refuse the call, chances are they have paid someone else to look at it and I find them less likely to want to spend more money putting it right

To be honest I get a kick out of jobs like this.Maybe im a bit twisted but I love the challenge of sucess where someone else has failed.
You do have to make sure that they are prepared to pay you for being a super hero though.

    Re: Bosch WAA24171Gb washer

Dont think you have either of them options on this model. I know what you mean about the instrustion booklet for the waa range its a cheap photocopied booklet. You have to go up to WAE range to get a colour book and complete instructions.
Saying that about 2 years ago I fitted a waa that would do a pre wash when you selected express wash. The customer was not happy when her express wash took half hour longer than a normal wash. 😉

    Re: Tool Bag

Thats a good one for best bag.Bargain booze carrier.
You would need a new carrier everyday from all the holes in it from screwdrivers and broken handles from heavy bearing extractor kits. Its a great excuse to the mrs. “Ive got go down bargain booze again my tool bags bust”…..Love it 😆

Siliconed kick plates.I think your right the kitchen fitters love spreading that stuff about. Its great when you spend twenty mins getting all the plinth off and then find its been tiled over the feet.
Had a classic the other day.Machine not pumping out .Remove manky old sock from sump hose give the customer her bill.
She says. Do I get a guarantee with that. So I pick up the manky old sock and chuck it in the bin and reply.
Yep i’ll give you a lifetimes guarantee ,that sock will not block your washing machine again.
Customers dont you just love em.
