I will look forward to meeting up with everyone again.
I had a great time at the last meeting and always look forward to the meetings to keep up to date with the trade and also have a good time with great friends.

Re: Estate agents asking for 30 days invoice
I now tell all estate agents the tenant has to pay on the visit and claim the money back from them.
If thay do not except this then I decline the work.
Estate agents are now finding it hard to find repairers due to most agents are slow to pay.
Also estate agents are finding it hard at the moment and more are closing and then you are not paid.
I now have had a few agents who have agreed to my terms as thay cannot find repairers and the presure from tennants to have appliances fixed.
The tenants who have not agreed to pay but demanded a repair the estate agent or property owner have met me on the visit and paid.
If thay cannot get an alternative repairer then thay will agree to your terms.
Some estate agents try to get out of paying saying the tenant left without paying the rent, This is not an excuse not to pay as tenants pay a deposit and your agreement to repair was with them and not the tenant.
This is what I do but it depends on how much you need the work and if you can afford to risk not getting paid or the time chasing up payments.

Thanks to Brian for organizing the Saturday night out and getting us a great deal at the Hilton.
Thanks to every one who put so much work into making it a great meeting with helpfull information.
It was great to see the regular friends.

Liebherr are normaly one of the best frost free fridge/freezers you can buy.
As soon as possible you will need to fully defrost the freezer as you will still have ice present.
Then it will be back working 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}.
If the problem returns within a couple of months then you will have a problem with the defrost system.
The electronic controls on Liebherr are very reliable and rare to give a problem.
The most likly fault would be a freezer evaporator sensor and even on the most expensive fridge/freezers if moisture penatraits the sensor it can fail.
On some makes of fridge/freezer the sensors cannot be replaced and then not repairable, but on the Liebherr
most parts are available and it is rare not to be able to repair a Lieberr.The fan cuts in only when the temperature drops so as after a defrost it will not blow warm air around the freezer, this is why the fan did not start up when you first turned it back on.
Sometimes with a frost free if you have a short power cut it can fool the control panel or if the door has not been fully closed then too much ice builds up and is sometimes more than the defrost system can cope with and starts of the problem.
If you fully defrost it hopefully the problem will not return.

The first thing to try is find someone to look after your food for a few days.
Turn of the freezer and leave the door open for 48 hours.
Turn it back on and if it returns to the normal temperture within 24 hours you can put your food back in.
If this works but the fault returns within 2 months then it will be a fault with the defrost system and will need an engineer to repair it.
You can search for an engineer on this site if you need one.

The electronic control module will have burnt out.
It is sometimes due to condensation in the control box or water has been spilt on the kitchen worktop and run into the control box.
This needs to be inspected to find out the cause before a new control module is fitted.Bob

This can lead to you being listed more than once on the list.
Also anyone else at the meeting I can pass on tips so you are on the list more than once so it looks as if you are the main business to call.

If it still makes the noise after emptying the tray on top the motor do not worry.
Sometimes the pipe has a u bend to stop the air entering the freezer.
The noise is just the air being sucked up the pipe past the water.Bob

If the door was left open it has built up too much ice on the evaporator for the defrost system to cope with.
If you can get someone to look after your food for 48 hours,
Turn off the freezer and leave the door open for 48 hours to allow it to defrost.
You should find it will work again after it has defrosted.
As you purchased this freezer from Iceland when Iceland sold freezers you may find your local Iceland will look after your food for a few days free of charge.

From the discription you give it sounds like the thermal fuse or heater is faulty but if you can send a photo it would help.

I do not have an account and have not purchased from Europart.
On the Europart stand at the UKW meeting they did tell everyone who was interested all WKW Members would receive a 10{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} discount.But you had to register with them at the meeting to receive it. At least thats what I was told on the stand.Bob
