Re: Hotpoint WMA32 not taking away conditioner

Thanks Martin, i’ve checked & both solenoids were energised, both did allow water in, as i felt pressure in pipes & could also see from inside, but water did’nt go into conditioner department, i suspect a blockage, i’ve ordered a new soap drawer dispenser & my supplier tells me that its a new part so perhaps some modification has been made!

Best advice mate is not to touch them, they are factory set & sealed to prevent tampering, order a new one, too much of a risk of flooding and / or machine going on fire perhaps !

Just to update you all, the pcb was frazzled, quoted customer for replacement & she declined, she’s getting a new one in sales £299 for a Hpt’ fully integrated BFI620, delivered & installed & old one uplifted!
    Can’t beat that!

Ta Geoff, no this is the big Square door , full width of machine, , doesn’t work like that as door switch is at top & anyhow door doesn’t fit in that way!

    Re: Door reversal Hpt’ CTD00

Actually had to go out to this machine myself, holes on machine are pre-drilled but how in the name of God do you get the hinges in to the door, there are no holes pre-drilled on other side of door! Rang Hotpoint & got (eventually) to speak to someone & he says they (Hotpoint) never had a door reversal to do so he has no technical knowledge of this! I’ve 2 to do & we’re just a small retailer! Do you have to order a new door that is hinged on R.H.S? I await his reply patiently!

Martin i don’t want to sound a real tit here, but is it possible that some of these were made or possibly designed for a slide open type dispenser, the top basket doesn’t allow dispenser door to open! Or are the customers supposed to take the hacksaw to their top baskets & cut out a slot themselves??

Yes thanks got on to Neff helpline eventually after getting engaged tone most of the day, they were as usua very helpful, & its so easy when you no how,
the oven has to be lifted up about half an inch & then pushed backwards, this alows access to screws on built in kit that are screwed onto inside of kitchen cabinet,, now why didn’t i think of that, its easy when you know how!

Re: Ariston dishwasher, detergent dispenser problem

Yeah theres a slight cut away but it doesn’t allow the dispenser door flap to open, check the next one you see out, i’ve come across this problem regularly, yes sometimes if the rubber seal in the water outlet at back is damaged it will prevent the top basket going back all the way, you don’t have to get in to dishwasher to find this out 😆 , a friend of mine brought this to my attention, when the door of dishwasher is opened at end of cycle, you hear the dispenser opening fully!

O.k heres the update, the selector switch has bad connections & will need replacing, also pcb sems dodgy as the clock display is very dim & needs replacing, any idea is this worth repairing or is a B.E.R, its about 4 years old.

    Re: NEFF INTEGRATED MICROWAVE

This is a stainless steel effect surround, seems to be not attached to microwave oven at all but is fitted to kitchen cabinet, it won’t let microwave out until it is removed, no visible fixings, afraid to damage kitchen cabinet by putting jemmy bar ( large screwdriver to it ) .

Re: Ariston dishwasher, detergent dispenser problem

Ariston LSI61 is the one i have looked at last, top basket doesnt allow door of detergent dispenser to open, it will only get to open a few mm & the tablet won’t get to fall out hence poor wash performance..
