I’ve found some in similar conditions, oisture/condensation on P.C.Bs cause them to be problematic to be honest.

Not the float switch, the conector that plugs into the float switch sometimes goes low enough to fool the electronics into thinking that the switch as been made.

Likely faulty P.C.B, but as a rule i’d get out my multimeter and test the components for low resistance to earth.

Most likely the control selector switch for the grill is faulty (if electrical), not sure if its a Gas grill or an Electrical grill as you don’t say.
Its advised to have a Gas Safe Engineer work on a Gas appliance.

Would check the motor brushes, drain pump, door interlock, inlet solenoid valves & heater as standard on any appliance that age giving those kind of problems.

Check the float switch connector plug, have found a few of them low giving false readings back to electronics that the float switch has activated. Failing that check the heater N.T.C, also prone to going low due to excess moisture from condenser not being cleaned.

Have disconnected the P.C.B & clock and by-passed the relay, oven now works but oven lamp stays on even when selector switch in off position. My nephew is contiplating putting in a new board but because of the expense has not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} decided yet. Anyone got the correct part number for the board, have been told they cost in region of £140 for the P.C.B.
Anyone got a wiring diagram for one of these?

Have you tried a capacitor on it, new capacitor normally kicks them into action.

Any fault codes on it? I think i’ve had previous problems with them overfrosting in freezer section, threw up F4 fault, only parts i’ve ever had to replace was NTCs.

OK is it a normal relay contact like most ovens that just needs by-passed by joining both tags on a piggy back, i’m not familiar with this product.
