It comes separate 4388420100, or as complete unit bin with screw in it 4394550100, normally breaks if there is a problem with water entering when it should’nt and causing block of ice to form or all the ice cubes to join together.

Yes you’d imagine it should throw up an error code, did you go into diagnostics & check?
NTC fault would be E70’s, heater E60’s, motor E50’s, door lock E40’s etc

I’d think the tacho, coil & cabling from motor to P.C.B would be the first things to check.
Have had to get some replaced during warranty for doing the same, software glitch i’d imagine though.

Have had many problems with the p.c.bs, would look for loom damage around the appliance, try appliance on test & if there is supply to P.C.B & it goes blank, more than likely its a board problem. Anything is likely with them , i’ve had one which popped up in Chinese writing on the P.C.B which I had to change for the customer, there is’nt a language option on them as far as i’m aware to set specific text.

Normally the counter/flowmeter reeds switch is failing to pick up signal from tacho magnet on water wheel, sometimes they move off the seating and don’t pick up the tacho correctly. Check its seated correctly, and check that the small loom cable is tight at both ends, where it connects to main board & flowmeter, slightly pinch (carefully) the connectiions with pliers to make sure they are making good contact.

P.c.b tracks were known to go open circuit/dry joint, small bit of solder normally cured the problem.

Best to check why its happening, fan blockage etc are something to look out for & condenser blockage in the condenser dryers.
Also check that relay on P.C.B is not stayin on all the time.

Is fan running ok, at full speed? If fan impellor is blocked up it may reduce the airflow likewise belt wear. Only problem i’ve had with these has been heaters low, blocked condenser, lower NTC on hose to tub from condenser, valve coil going o/c.
Have you checked that its drawing correct current on drying setting, to see if heaters are on when they should be?

As posted earlier a low resistance to earth can lock the P.C.Bs.
Have found problems with motor carbon brush dust, heater on wash & dryer to cause the problem described.

Re: Zanussi TCE 7276 W showing error E40

E40 is door related fault, door switch is faulty or the wiring to it or connections to P.C.B
