    Re: beko dsfn1530b thumping noise

Thumping noise can be drain hose thumping off back of appliance if it was not secured.
How is it “not working as it should”?
I’m presuming you did turn on the water supply again and fix the float switch back to base correctly.

Ditto to Criscold post, this is a Beko clone and they are prone to stuck relays. Most important to advise customer to switch off completely, remove plug.

Re: Hotpoint FDYF 11011 DISHWASHER (H20 probs)

Have you had a look at the instruction manual?

The dishwasher does not take any water in – Tap shut-off alarm
(indicator light ON/OFF flashing; H2O and tap symbol displayed; F 6 appears after a few seconds).
    • There is no water in the mains supply.
    • The water inlet hose is bent (see Installation).
    • Turn on the tap and the appliance will start after a few minutes.
    • The appliance lock has been activated because no action was taken when the beeps sounded.
Switch off the appliance using the ON/OFF button, turn on the tap and switch the appliance back on after a few seconds by pressing the same button. Re-program the appliance and restart the wash cycle.

If still not curing problem, contact service as its only fairly new and still under guarantee.

And also never wire up a heating element directly, at least connect an earth connection to it.

Well Maurice I have been trained by Miele at there Dublin depot and did servicing for them in Northern Ireland in the past but have not done any in ages, I now cover a lot of other not so expensive brands.
Crumlish Electrical from Letterkenny do all the west side of Ulster and I think Miele have their own Engineer I think employed to cover the rest of the province.
I’d never regard myself as a specialist but would have a knowledge of them.
Can you post a question to the seller on e-bay as to whether the P.C.B will fit directly to your model, best to quote the ser’ number of machine too.

    Re: Amica AWCT10L Error Code

Only problem i’ve had with these machines was to replace a door interlock on one and a p.c.b & motor on another.
Think the motor had overheated and went open circuit on the t.o.c in coils and taken out p.c.b. Maybe one of the coils of the motor is damaged on this and not completing on full spin or triac of p.c.b that drives motor is problematic.
Not seen too many Amicas to be honest.

    E10s = Not filling

Tap closed or mains pressure is insufficient, the drain hose incorrectly
positioned, water fill solenoid faulty perhaps, leaks from the pressure switch hose/vessel, pressure switch faulty, wiring faulty,PCB faulty

    Re: miele dishwasher g638plus flooding

Water even if going into salt container (softener) should still go through the matrix I thought as its measured by the flowmeter thats attached on the matrix.
You may not see the matrix fill up as such but the water should go through it en route to the salt container. Even if no salt level is set for regeneration by the machine it always by default lets in water (approx 1 litre) through the salt container to keep it from going mouldy etc.

Water flows through the water channel, to the water mixer outlet and then to the water softener. After passing through the water softener, the now soft water flows via the soft water intake, back into the water inlet mixer (matrix). It then flows past the non-return device, into the sump.
So I would check sump, also try the old salt container that you have removed for blockages.

“When it comes to the P.C.B however, that’s when I have to call it quits and send for a washing machine engineer.”

So you not gonna call it quits & send for an Engineer just yet?

Re: Miele novotronic premier500 removing pcb

If you look at the front perspex piece thats covering the fascia, at the bottom its sitting in on a few little springs, theres a little space to get a flat screwdriver in. So gently prize it with a small flat screwdriver & it will come out. Screws securing P.C.B are behind it.

Power off when working on any electrical appliance of course.
