ParticipantRe: been told i need a new gas canister
Perhaps this “gas canister” is the compressor.
One way of getting them out to you fairly quickly would be to tell them theres a smell of gas all the time and you constantly feel sick.
The gas does’nt smell really and won’t make you sick but it might stir them into some kind of action.Seamy
ParticipantRe: miele dishwasher g638plus flooding
Not entirely sure of the water path layout of this particular one, but they are mostly similar.
On the side of the dishwasher theres a fill matrix that the water comes in to.
On the very top of this matrix on some dishwashers theres a little ball valve that may be stuck. There is also a solenoid valve on the side of some of them.
Water intake from WaterProof inlet hose should be connected to outside connection on matrix, it goes through a flowmeter on through solenoid valve on matrix & up to ball valve at top.
If the salt container is bulging it is likely the hose from exit of softener is blocked.
Perhaps the lid of salt container has been left off & contaminants have gotten in, the exit from salt container is a hose on the top of the container from memory and the water mains intake to it is to bottom.
Check sump of dishwasher where hose from salt resevoir comes in for blockages too.January 29, 2014 at 8:09 am in reply to: John Lewis JLWD1408 not moving from wash cycle to rinse #408182Seamy

Would suspect the dryer heater to be low to ground. If it was meggered it should show up faulty.
This theory can be tested by removing the cables off the dryer heater and taping them up safely so they dont touch anything.
Run the machine on wash only and if it does the programme ok where it previously was sticking it may point to the faulty part.Power off of course when working on appliance, covers back on if doing any test washes.

ParticipantRe: Miele novotronic premier 500
Morning Maurice, on the front of the tub at the bottom near the heater there is a pressure vessel, it may be gunged up/blocked. If you carefully take it off and wash it out it should help. Also check inlet solenoid valves for continuity of the coil, drain pump, drain hose for blockages.
Rinse flashing indicates a motor fault normally on a Miele washer.
The little chips off the edge of the brushes were likely caused when you were taking them off.
It may be sticking on heating if its getting really hot and steamy and that could point to a stuck relay, it may be that it only washed and did not get to rinsing with cold water though, can you remember what cycle it was on?
Worse case scenario is the P.C.B is faulty, motor control relays have been known to suffer from stuck contacts.Seamy
ParticipantRe: Electrolux oven nightmare!
Hello Micky hows Longford keeping, i’m there regularly.
First check terminal block connections are tight.
Try putting a washer on first before the fan impellor, it will move it out a millimeter from the back wall which can help.
I’ve found on several makes of oven/cookers that the fans run too close to rear wall and don’t be able to get to full speed. So they are getting very hot and burning out. Motors are constantly being made smaller and smaller, when you look at the coil in first pic’ its no wonder it has no power to run anything.Seamy
ParticipantRe: BEKO grill element?
Yes T.O.C on either oven top/grill or bottom oven will cause the indicator neon not to light and elements not to work on whatever oven they protect.
Feed is from terminal block through T.O.C, then on to selector switch P1 other side of switch 1 is to indicator and elements.Seamy

but please feel free to tell me if I’ve had my head stuck in my dryer for too long! Thanks if you’ve made it this far – I appreciate that this is a very long post. All thoughts, comments and suggestions welcome.
Sorry did’nt mean to offend but was just trying to make the point that most engineers would’nt read such a long post or even reply.
Again i’d reiterate that there is likely a blockage in the air-path, the steam is either not condensing properly and most certainly condensate seems to be not getting away, best to fit drain hose as stated on pages 31, 32 & 34 of operating instructions, also need to check that condenser is clean, air ways are cleaned out & filters are clean too.
Having some knowledge of the issue and having been trained by Miele on these products it does seem like there is not enough air passing through, this is likely causing the high limit t’stat popping out on over temp’ and the heater getting damp also suggests poor airflow.
(it is common on condenser driers no matter what make)
This can be a build up of dirt/dust after years of use in the air path ducting, on the fan impellor blades, filters etc.
Take out filters and wash with washing up liquid etc, sometimes scum can form on the gauze of the filter from over use of softener, the filter may look o.k but the airflow may be reduced.Miele do offer a few service options which may suit and perhaps should still be considered . Pricey but the product was pricey to begin with. I’d opt for a good local independant guy, they should be able to do the job too most likely at half the labour cost.
1)Miele Remedy Service Plan

ParticipantRe: miele g 653 scvi plus not filling
Most likely the water counter/ flow meter magnet or reed switch is problematic.
PM me your e-mail address & i’ll send you the service manual if you need it.

ParticipantRe: BEKO grill element?
Possibly because the outer part of grill element is used in top oven function too so its higher resistance?
Would have a look at door switch, grill selector switch & most likely culprit would be the T.O.C. at rear.Seamy
ParticipantRe: Leisure (Beko) DWLT 65 Test Sequence
You may already have this sorted..
Would advise you to change P.C.B and selection P.C.B too, they tend to get corrosion from steam on switch contacts which causes them to stick / cancel programme etc. Parts cheap so best to put both in.

ParticipantRe: e/luxEUCAIG
Its a professional commercial dishwasher, fast type with 90 second, 120 second & 240 second cycles, ability to take about 40 baskets an hour so I presume its in a busy place.
They should be easy enough worked at, same basics apply, it fills washes, times, heats drains etc.
Just watch out it may be converted to 3 phase, they would come standard as 240 supply but are convertable.Seamy
ParticipantRe: Fault with Beko ca7015ffs1
First and foremost, this appliance may be one of the Beko products that was recalled.
CALL BEKO on 0800 009 4837 with the ser’ umber, model number etc to check.Fault on fridge could be that the t’stat is faulty (always on) or its low on gas for instance and not going cold enough to knock off the t’stat in fridge so running continuously and build up of frost, ice etc. Best to get a refrigeration guy to have a look.

ParticipantRe: New World Cooker 60ECHDGM
Would have expected it to have a product code 208552096 or 208552097 etc, but however the blue regulator shown in my previous post should fit many many GDHA products, yours included.

ParticipantRe: beko cda539fw-2 thermistor
Is it gone?
Have not ever had to replace one, the control board (4360620185) yes have fitted dozens of them.
There are 2 kits available though 4394720285 and 4394720185.Seamy
ParticipantRe: Miele Novotronic T 7634 dead.
I removed the spade connectors and shorted across them, mmmm ???
Probable best to check it with a test meter/multimeter.
And to continue testing the appliance from the plug all the way following the circuit through, POWER OFF please NO LIVE TESTING. -
