ParticipantRe: Hotpoint BWD20 Leaking at back of Drum
It appears you had a loose counter weight, however check for any play with the inner drum, if there is any movement then the inner drum has cut through the outer drum just above the heater element surrounding fixing. Closer inspection will help

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint SDW60
All said and done, if the machine heats to a point and displays an error code in your case A10, make sure the machine is not foaming as this will cause the tube heating element to overheat due to less water passing through it. also check the wiring to the pressure switch / module.

ParticipantRe: Is This The New Craze?
Just look at the bright side, the other day had a similar situation, had customers two little kids watching me, ask the nice gentleman to take the kids to the next room, he was puzzled, came back out and showed him the cause of the blockage/./ oh my god he screemed 😳 , the rest is history.

Hi Guys,
Sorry to drag this one back, I have gone to replace the saop dispenser this evening and the appliancce is behaving the same way, the only time drain pump comes ON is when I keep my finger on the start button, release and the pump stops. I’m suspecting the control module, any ideas will help.
