    It will do a periodic defrost. Cracking noises as ice is melting. How long is it off for? And have the thermistors been replaced yet. Unplug power if you are going to have a look yourself.

    Do you mean the fan in the freezer compartment? Type in Mistral in the search facility. Plenty of info there.

    Have you lifted the retaining tags on brushes so they slide freely in the holder? Unplug power before having a look.

    Fitted a ELE2015 to a FE0614 recently. Perfect fit 3 turn. Hope this helps.

    A sunday call today Wife phoned said yes can call out.
    Got there Husband answered door. Wife out.
    Quoted £35 to fix door latch assy on Ariston Wma breed
    Doit for 30.
    No 35.
    Will ring round for quotes
    bye.
    Then he rings me later on.
    His Mobile call to me was lengthy. 😈
    About a fiver. I expect wife was not pleased when she got home with the pile next to machine.

    Yes fitted a Hotpoint one that customer had bought new. When undoing Transit bolt heard a crack. Bolt and section of rear tub came out through hole 😯 . right next to suspension spring.

    Had an 8596 do similar. Fan not running thermistor replaced. The usual easy repair i thought. was still there 2 hrs later. Froze thermistor using pipe freezer spray saw Evap fan kick once for a second. Cust wrote it off.
    There isnt a batch of faulty thermistors going about is there?

    Yes that heater is ok as well. Hoped that condenser fan motor would keep drain tube warm to stop it from freezing. That works too. Got me stumped unless board is not switching heater on for long enough. 😕
