Have received 081581800 this morning from Stoves for EL706. £23.92 plus carriage and vat (around 36 quid). Was ordered monday 6th.

Replaced 481969018131 X4 and it locks o.k. now (stripped teeth).

You could test thermistor with meter but you would not know the resistance values at which temperatures the thermistor is at. The fan will do that as it is in a test routine if power is applied with the door open.
Replace the thermistor. Or get a man who can at Repairs@.

I would replace the Evaporator thermistor first. Unplug power if you are going to have a look yourself :zap:

there was a 2 CM gap between oven and hob. Ran away from job and recommended BSH to the man. Thanks Boro

Yes found WG9. Sounds like electronic module may have popped. Unplug power if you are going to have a look yourself :zap: .
