It is possible that the stat may be out of calibration. An oven thermometer will confirm this. Check out Repairs@ for an engineer in your area.

Does the red light ever go out to say the oven has reached temperature?

BobHope is an expert on these. If the module fails it will run continuously So the freezer food is not lost. Have a look at it. I have had modules of QER for this problem.

Ah send to EMW No fault found. Open up every edge connector so it is a tight fit on board now works. Not logical. Perhaps it dried out in the post?

    Re: Indesit DG6145 Heater problem

There will be a safety stat that will cut the element out at 85 degrees. I would just have the element replaced. Unplug power if you are going to have a look yourself :zap: Or Try Repairs@ for an engineer in your area.

Common these days is to replace the whole door with the seal on it as the door is built with the seal. If you look between the seal and doorand see some tiny screws holding the inner liner to the outer door then it is replacable. Dave Conway will enlighten you further shortly as to a price.

    Re: Indesit DG6145 Heater problem

The appliance relies on the spray arms pumping water around the dishwasher. If this was working before it went pop then it should be a simple heater failure. Are you in hard water area/using salt?

    Simon
