This could possibly be a module or sensor problem. It will need diagnosing. Check out repairs@ for an engineer in your area.

    Re: WMA wire chafe

It does look like there is a previously tied part in the loom due to a kink in the motor wiring where it has been hung from the drum. Thanks Dave/Bob.

Re: Bosch KGU3201GB/01 – Pool of water under the salad drawe

There is a defrost drain tube in a little hole at the back of the fridge that gets blocked with sludge. Using a flexible cable tie it can be rodded to clear it.

I had one of these coca cola fridges for a simple door switch repair fan connection plug recently. What part is it you require?

And if you leave your sockets at home when doing an Indesit IS60V, unscrew the end off your maglite torch and use that instead!

If the pump is running there may be a blockage in the drain hose.

Is there a whirring sound when the dishwasher first starts (drain pump emptying) or a hum for first 30 secs?

Re: Bosch SGS6342GB/07 Dishwasher Blown board Tracks

Fitted a test board i had to check operation. Does the heater come on, on the first 70 degree saucepan wash which i would have thought would be a cold prewash. Test board has had heater relay resoldered.

No shorts/LI/leaks. Sat watching quickwash o.k. Lots of spilt tea on top though. 😕

Re: Hotpoint Ultima Close Door Error

The door interlock may be getting tired. This requires attention/replacement because if the contacts fall apart inside it it may short and blow the timer/module. Unplug before checking :zap:

Also have you checked the filter is not blocked. Have a couple of towels ready when unscrewing. Try to get as much water out as possible first.

Re: Diplomat APM 8512 Washing Machine

Good news! This sounds like a sludge blockage in the pressure system. The machine may think it is full when empty therefore no spin. Also it may think it is empty when full. A job for an engineer. Check out Repairs@ on LHS of page. May only be labour and/or a heater too.

Re: Indesit Circulation Pump – Motor – Capacitor?

The capacitor can be tested with a meter. Also be aware that this can store a huge charge which may be live even with the power off. Also if the motor has overheated the windings may be damaged due to the cooling fan in the rear of the motor not running. So a replacement can be fitted but the life of the motor may be shortened. If you are going to have a look yourself pull the mains plug :zap: . Or you can look at Repairs@ on the LHS of page.

    Simon.
