they dont glow,i have had this before and there is a thread on here somewhere about it as well, it just gets hot but doesnt glow the halogen ring does the donkeywork.

disregard my earlier post 😳 was judging that on plastic tub, for any readers in the future its not for the faint hearted. the inner liner has to come off to gain access to heater.

have you checked the obvious like blocked spray arm jets ?

clean the little holes directly above the softener compartment with a plastic bag tie or similar object.
