a quiet few days
My warrantee work is down but repairs are up. I’m getting a few commercial jobs coming through, mainly fridges (24 in one night club) gave them a fixed rate + materials. And a vaccine fridge in a doctors surgery yesterday. I guess they are shopping around too.

I have just had the same problem with a hotpoint. It looks like faulty heater, it has high resistance .9 Mohms and the tablet door solenoid is wired in series with it.

I found something similar on a double oven. Turned out to be bulb holder shorting and oven commutator/controller contact shorted shut.

The best advertising method besides recommendations is a business card drop. I get some nice looking cards made up at vista print with a calendar on the back and get the delivered locally. I also give a few to each customer and ask them to hand them to there friends and also time permitting post them through the letter boxes around my calls.
