    fault code guide

I get many customers that phone up that have already done some research, found the fault code, tried to sort the problem and then found they don’t either have the practical skill or knowledge to complete the repair.
At this stage they are only more than happy to pay me to repair it.

And I think it helps the customer to realise our value.

So am not concerned at all.

The one I went to this week was the small front opening model with a hinged front. But could also gain access from underneath. If they don’t want to pay Miele prices they will have to except the time for parts arriving.

    Aeg 75238-GA1 freezer

Does any one know the part no. For the defrost element on this freezer. Connect came up with one which didn’t have the 2 stats attached but the original had 2 stats attached.

    Thanks

Does that model have a hinged front? 3 bolts inside the door opening

    Cooker Hoods

If you don’t want to loose the cupboard the the conventional type is your only option. These do come in many guises so will be a case of looking around. I seem to think Neff made one that was telescopic at the front in that the front slide out.

Unable to unscrew fluff cap on Bosch w/machine

Often if it won’t unscrew you have something trapped in it. If that model doesn’t have a solid base you will be able to remove tube that connects the tub to the pump and remove the offending article. If it does have a solid base you may be able to get to it by removing the front plinth.

    washine machine filling when off

As long as part of the machines waste pipe is higher than the sinks 1 1/2 waste pipe where it exits the building, this will create an air brake and prevent water running/ syphoning back. Might be worth checking the sink waste is running free.

    BEKO CDA539FW defrost

Does any one know what resistance reading the defrost time should give through the 4 contacts?

    Vax Rapide XL

Sorry, didn’t mean to sound patronising. It sounds like a vacuum is building up with no through flow which can often mean a blockage.

    Have you checked for blockages?
