    Re: WTA website update

Not immediatly but I think the homepage, could do with a revamp?

there is stuff on there that goes back to 2007-2009, these topics could be placed in the history now.

Just keep it with the current issue whats happening right now such as Sucessfull meeting, boast about the turn out and spares / appliance suppliers info?

Just a thought, as i said not urgent, those who have access are in need of a good break.

so by all means tell me to put a sock in it… 😳

    Re: sept 2010 meeting

    Very good day 😆

Really impressed with the proffesionalism of the whole set up.

A big thanks to Adrian for the shirts that really top it off, I have had note on PM from KLA dave saying how good we all looked. 8)

We all need a pat on the back, especially Lawrence an excellant presenatation. 😉

It just shows what we can achieve when we pull together, it can only get better.

Not forgetting Ken & John for the hard work and dedication that they put in. The amount of time they spend behind the scenes and we dont always know what goes on but it is very much appreciated.

    Thanks guys

    Looking forward to February.

Oh yes i have stopped smiling now 😀 the drugs are wearing off. :rotl:

    See you soon guys

They want to replace the appliances in the flats as there getting old and paying me too much :rolls:

So Amica for me is an option, so Simon is contacted and Swift details passed, Swift contacted and I’m still waiting (2 weeks) for a price list.

So I ring Simon, who happened to be in the UKW meet 😆

Can I have details of other suppliers, as Swift arn’t so Swift.

This letting agent has around 450 flats in a University city, so all let out and there currently buying from Howdens around 2 intergrated washer dryers a week, but the appliances are crap.

So better for me being Amica agent to also supply and possible repair both in warranty and out of warranty, but i’m not about to lose any sleep over the deal, but its kinda frustrating that I’m all singing and dance Engineer, been Gas, Refrigeration and trade assossociated for many many yrs and yet in this current climate distributors don’t seem to be able to supply even the simplest request, so how can I rely on appliances to be delivered on time etc etc..

If you came to the meeting then you would have met them.

I havent swift number to hand, but I belive your rep is Paul Harper and he lives on your door step.
I will get it posted as soon as.

Amica do not do Washer dryers, nor at the moment any tumble dryers so this will not help you on this front.

However swift have a large range of built in and freestanding products so dont rule them out, not sure why they havent contacted you probably just an oversight.

But if you do want others there are portway and inmans who also stock Amica but not as much in stock.

But to get on back on track and return to the topic

    Yes there is a future.

So why are you all so negative?

We cant do this alone as you know you get screwed over, as Adrian said the only way is to work together, its not a quick fix or overnight soloution its going to take time.

You guys are obviously quite intelligent and have a lot to say so why not put your experience, knowledge and skills where your tying fingers are and work with us, we want the same result at the end of the day.

    Cheers lads

Its only £70 in total overpaid me on two invoices.
Which i had not noticed, who would the way this wp does its payments :rolls:

it takes them long enough to pay usually so that amounts to just the interest they owe me 😆

Any how they have realised there error and have claimed it rightly back i suppose.

    Thanks for the info

    Just read the letter properly,

its headed retail memebrship trading websites.

under the terms of memebrship it is classified as an additional retail outlet and would charged at the additional rate.

cant believe this, may be i will pop this into the general forum to see if other members have had similar letters?

    Re: New Warranty Registration

Can Amica have guarantee forms in with the appliances from now on along with the new contact phone number for customers to call?
or do they prefre to do it all on line?

If not can we get them to produce a card to go in with appliances?
This way registration will be easier.

on the back of that for future work…

Have we already got a registration card of our own made up which we can send direct to the CSS for additional warranty to be sent out to customers when the manufacture warranty runs out which can be done at time of the sale?

    Re: ISE job recalls

    Tim,

Thats pretty obvious would you not think, it’s not new; and ISE are not the only ones who would check what was done and if related not pay out again. Other wise there would be a lot of dealers who would take the p*ss. :rolls:

Unless you had a pcb in stock, you would have had to make 2 trips anyway so the time involved is still the same.

5hIT happens; you win some, you loose some.
With the labour rate the highest paid by far of any WP you can afford to loose the odd one surely. 😉
