    Re: Water in base

Found the rason for the leak on the right hand side 😆

PRESSURE CHAMBER PIPE, chaffing against the end of cable channeling. 😉

Needs additional sleeving or a smooth enclosed chanel conduit to come further down the side panel to prevent this.

    Re: Water in base

yep can recall our chat but what i can’t understand is that water had collected on the angle of the pump filter,to me that suggests a dispenser drawer issue.

Pump on the right? how can water from dispenser on the angle of pump?

I had a split in the small grey drain off hose from filter recently?

I have been checking the later Amica on delivery now and on all the ones I have seen the dispenser hose issue seems to have been resolved, the distance is much greater from the tub 😉

The only way to see if it is a dispenser problem is the base is covered in black rubber bits.
It is difficut to see the hole as it is right on the shoulder, so you have to remove it to find it.

It was suggestions and ideas that I thought we needed at this point to throw into the pot.

I know what your saying, Surley these people know what we all do.

What have we to hide ❓

It just some of these departments have things that could be usefull to us?

I will keep thinking, if i can come up with anything better i let you know?

    Jonah wrote:Hi all,

I’ve had 2 of these this week with customers reporting not spinning, in fact they are complaining of poor spin on wool wash etc which it does say in the manual is a very low spin, is there any way the call centre staff can filter out these as if we diagnose over the phone they still want us to call and obviously we cannot invoice Amica for the call and as usual a customer with a low end appliance will not pay either

I have filtered out 3 of the 6 jobs i have had to date myself.
the office staff are not engineers but will try and do there best but you know what customers are like unless you dig deep they nort forth coming with info.

you will get paid for soft fix call avoidance of £15 if dealt with over the phone saving you a visit and giving the customer some good advice on ‘Read the Friggin manual’
you are probably booking the job within 2 days, so just tell them to try the machine again after you have finished on the phone and if the problem is still there then you will call. chances are they wont call back.

You will find that the customer has just checked the filter before you arrived to make sure nothing in it.

    Ken

Once you have authorised the summary sheet we send to you.

When do you require all the seperate invoices by?

Do these invoices then need to be sent to you before the end of that month?

Or are you saying you will pay for these jobs before you recieve our invoices? 😳

    Re: WTA benefits

I did enquire recently with HSBC to see if they have anyone who can authorise this but no one has got back to me and i have been a bit busy to follow up.

I already have a special rate as far as I know aranged through ‘retra’ from HSBC how good it is depends what everyone is on?

Wont we need to see what rates most of us are on to see what additional benefits we can obtain to make it worth while?

Make about £100 on a bosch,
Have i got to stock ise to sell them or can you order as you need them.
Do i have to invest in spares,

No you dont need to have stock, you can sell from a catologue or your web site if you have it, if not visit

    http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/New+Appl … chine.html

Most are sold on reputation or engineers recommendation 😉
Delivery is usually around 3 days

No you dont need to invest in spares. why would you on an iSe 10 they dont go wrong.

But I would say if you got space for one then stock it, you are sure of a sale it will sell itself 😀 .

The profit is around the same and you get to work on it if it goes wrong.

Give John Hopwood or Kenneth a call.

    Hi Ken

I was working on something my self, but as you have done it you beat me to it. looks ok.

I had similar, added at the end… adears to code of practice as set out in the wta consitution?

If you like, I will check with Lawrence and Ade and if ok with them tag along when they were going to do the cop stuff at Kilmarnock in october and if you like I can work on that and make them up.

    Let me know guys?
