Old style white Plastic taps, looks like a sink tap, had one in a tight corner boxed in, when I reached in to turn off it snapped off yes it had to be the hot one :rolls:
l had to stick finger in hole to stem the flow luckily had a colleague who was around to switch of the hot water tank supply still took some time was getting rather hot.
I now keep the poxy putty in tool box you mix together which is water proof slapp it in the hole. 😉

DavidDavid are they using you because they have no agent for your area?
Everyone of their clients (over 200 rate codes) have different labour rates starting at £33-47, different conditions of parts mark up (usually 0{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d})

Same rate for freestanding and built in.So there is no way you will actually make any money from them. :rolls:
Unless you are in the sticks and they have no choice to use you, then normally the rates apply.Thats why you were sent the note.

Before you loose the work on selling a bosch and you want to service what you sell why not either go for the Amica or the statesman either one you can do the work on they both also have 2 yr warranty (the statesman as far as I know is a vestel which was similar to the ise 5 dishwasher).

I have a couple of burnt out pumps recently on zanussi washers and a washer dryers. 😯
Just changed them for pattern ones and they have failed within a matter of months; have always fitted pattern askol with no problems until now.
Customer reported a squeeling noise when draining before they pack up :rolls:So thought I would order the genuine ones, only to find they are not coming with TOCs. DST1326630207
They also appear to be exactly the same as the pattern ones anyway. 😕
I thought that if they run longer they had different wattage rating is this not the case now.
It does not seem to be just washer dryer that are affected I have had burnt out ones on washers as well ?
Have checked for blockages and restrictions all ok in both cases?
Are they being manufactured in china?
The design of the pump has changed it looks cheaper plastic, is this not coping with the heat and causing the pump to jam?Steven

I have sold quite a few of these models and not come across this problem 😕
You say you changed the motor and module and still had the same problem, even replaced it with exact same model and got the same fault. 😮
Have you tested the machine somewhere else to elimate supply issue ❓

For the original models keep to the AWCT (LED) or AWCN14D(LCD) ranges.
The AWP range are a different style.

You can’t go wrong with AMICA we sell loads.
If you are already dealing with portway then you will pay around 135-145 and retail around 250 a nice little profit.You can also get them from Swift Electrical who keep a good range.
If you want to repair yourself then you will need to speak to Ken or John Hopwood who can set your self up as service seller for the 2 year warranty.
If you are coming to the September meeting there will be lots about this subject then.

The manual says it does do a final spin, just no intrim ones.
I am sure the ones I have tried do a short spin.

I’ve seen a program recently on Penguins.
They are in the middle of a molt, just waiting for their new water proof feathers to appear.Maybe he is growing new feathers and just keeping his head down until september where he will reveal all 😆
