You can get there at 2pm if you like……. 😆
4 o’clock is better as you can get a mornings work in before you leave so you haven’t lost a whole day. Staying overnight is up to you though – if the talking goes on until late (it often does) then you may be too knackered to drive home.

    Steve.

I was just checking what time kick off was? after 4 is fine.

If meeting goes on till late and you are all staying over then book me in 😆

I had it with BI Neff F/F

just as an example but you should be able to pick up from any good DIY shop

    http://www.screwfix.com/prods/12202/Iro … -Pack-of-2

If this is the IN COLUMN style machine then you need this type hinge to mount the wooden door.

I suspect your old one had cut out slots in the appliance door and the hinges were attached direct to that?

You have to fix the new style hinges to the carcus (if room) try and get as slim style as possible just need to line up and screw in place.

I have had no install failures on either (Touch wood) not really superstitious.

But i have had more queries related to the statesman and having had to go back and run through everything until it sinks in (thick customers), and have also had to exchange appliances as customers can get so sh**ty because the machine doesnt do what its suppose to do despite reading the brochure, this cost money and the machines are too pricy to absorb these incidents 😳

On the Amica I have only had two board failures within a year.
In the main through power surges.
Cannot fault the back up from Simon it has been good.
One email and he had sent me the board direct form GDHA and I have gone and fitted it 10 min job. Keeps the customer happy at the end of the day thats what matters as the margin is better you can afford the odd one.
I do sell both but favor the Amica anyday 😉

At the end of the day as long as we can service what we sell then it doesnt really matter which one.
Make money on the sale and the repair. HAPPY DAYS!!

    negatives:
=not the cheapest on the market to buy trade, but dont be tempted to cut your margin because of this, people will pay a fair price for it, if you can justify it ti them *like i just did above*
=o/o/b system on w/m seems to be more sensitive than other brands, but no issue if you always advise customer what to do before you leave
=on the w/m if your careless enough to not check that the prog selector knob’s line is pointing exactly to the programme you want, you can occasionally select the wrong program
=inlet hoses are bit of a pain, they tighten down further on the tap and that can prevent full opening, so requiring modifying the tap handle, and the long than average solid “neck” on the hose can make installation difficult if pipework is thoughtlessly positioned, and waste elbows are not supplied with machine!

I have sold a fair few of these..

Totally agree with you on the negatives.

Not a bad washer but over priced for what it is.

I dont agree with selling to the elderly, I have had a few problems with recalls to tell them they have to wash more than just there smalls, or single items, the dial is not exactly spot on which can cause some confusion. Even when you have told them the OOB sensitive :rolls:
The spin only option is misleading will only spin at 600 or 800 on both models, real pain in the arse if you want that extra spin and expect it to spin at 1200.

The built in stuff ovens etc not too bad.

    Refrigeration basic and over priced.

I believe they have a new range of washers coming out shortly, havent seen them yet, but being produced in far east factory (so say one of the electrolux factories) dont know what the quality like.

If your interested then personally I would go for the Amica. 😉

IMO Washers much better quality, higher spec lower price around £40-£50 cheaper than the statesmen selling price higher so more profit for you.
still have 2 year warranty and have full range of other products in the range.
The only down side (not with the product it self) is many of the suppliers always run out of stock. :rolls:

Dont think will be insuring with them again.

Spent 2 hours taking van in for estimate, yesterday as well.

Making sure that all the times making phone calls and other time lost is noted.
