    Re: Ignis D/w no heat

    Cheers John

I have sent him back to take another look, and while he was there this time the machine did error out as though there wasnt enough water.
He reset it and it filled ok, so it could be an intermittant flow meter fault.

Initially the level and the circulation action seemed ok but i did ask him about the water level.

I got him to top it up manually while it was in a cycle, but if the board has already detected low water level then by doing this probably would not have made much difference is this right?

Will change flow meter and see what happens.

I have not looked at it myself, this is on behalf of my engineer.

But he has said that he has tested the mains supply directly from the terminals of the large pcb in the base and it has no voltage from the relays.
Where do these relays get there supply from is it on the main pcb itself?

Could it be a faulty pcb? It has been repaired by emw.

I dont think There are many wires in the door on this type.?

    cheers Martin

My engineer has checked the condenser all clear, the machine is just over 12mths old, customer has been doing the same program since he has lived there. (rented property) and has had no problems before (or so he said, you know what its like customers never tell you the whole story)
especially if you mention overloading or too much detergent.

Surely if it was overheating it would still error out, you know what Indisits are like slightest fault.

    Just checked with engineer.

Cannot cancel or remove this error, tried disconnecting appliance, etc.
As I cannot remove this, the washer wont work at all.
Seems to be locked out, any idea how to unlock it?
