They only offer fixed price repairs for Indesit group appliances, so could it be they subcontract the work outside their area to the Indesit Company?

So the sealed tubs Indesit are supplying are recons rather than new?

I wouldn’t worry too much. If they click on Repair and Protect, many Google users are likely to be put off by the £180 that typically comes up on the “instant quote” facility.

ParticipantRe: who owns this site ???
I must put in a good word for Masterpart. Yes, their stock levels are not as generous and they run out of things more than Connect or Qualtex, but I have found their pricing very keen lately and I’ve had no problems with order fulfilment once the order has been placed.

ParticipantRe: Volcanic Rock drying?
So low temperature pre-wash + low temperature wash + low temperature drying = high energy efficiency?
But low temperature wash = poor sterilisation and over time smelly washer? Seen that before somewhere?

ParticipantRe: pcb for baumatic bwd1409w
Worth calling Baumatic spares direct on 01235437244. In my experience, much cheaper than Connect.

ParticipantRe: indesit door handle pin
New handle pin has serrations, so should hold better.

ParticipantRe: bosch machine how to repair
Looks like a drill and hacksaw job. Imagine a toddler putting their arm in there while the machine is spinning.

Are we talking BSH? If so, FD 9007 is July 2010. July 2000 would be FD 8007.

ParticipantRe: Gas Bill
Do you have a gas meter? Is this an estimated bill or based on actual readings? What time period does it cover? Looks like you might be on a deemed contract – see here and here as well.
“Deemed contracts for business consumers
A supplier will nearly always charge higher rates for a business consumer on a deemed contract. However it is important to note that if the ownership or leasehold of a commercial property changes, costs such as standing charges will not apply until energy at the property has actually been used.”
Mod edit:
Shortened your URL’s as they were making the page very large.

Perhaps this is purely a get out clause to their fixed fee repair deal – fixed fee when it’s a cheap repair – no fix no fee if its costly.

Was that a phone or online order?

ParticipantRe: Santander free business banking to end
Not so, Martin, according to those in the know. Santander bought Abbey back in 2004, but keeping the Abbey name and marketing the “free business banking forever” account until the end of 2010. See:

ParticipantRe: Santander free business banking to end
I asked Santander to log a formal complainst as their commitment when I joined in 2005 was “free business banking forever”. Admittedly they were called Abbey then, although they had just been bought out by Santander. Still probably the best deal around for small business banking though.
