Re: Old Hoover Washer Dryer Surpressor

I can’t find any “standard pattern surpressors”. Connect do an Electrue part version of this surpressor but that is also obselete.
Do you have any examples please Martin.
    Thanks

    Re: Teka intergrated dishwasher

    Oops!
Temp sensor fault is 3rd flashing 5th lit. I read this as 3 flashing 5th lit.
That’s the error indication it is showing….First 3 lights flashing and 5th lit.
Can’t find this error, although customer said he looked up and found it to be “Flow metre detected when not fitted reset” In my book this is indicated by just the first 3 lights flashing.
    Thanks

    Re: Lomona oven?

It was a while back, but I don’t recall having any problems. I can’t remember the job so there is a slim chance I didn’t even do it in the end.
Sorry not very helpful I know!!

Re: Lamona intergrated washer from Howdens

    That’s strange!
You were the first guys I phoned with the model number but was told you don’t do that one.
I thought it may have been a Hoover because I recognised the interlock as a Hoover.
I’ll give it another try with the part number.
    Thanks

    Thanks for replies.
This fridge does’nt have an ice maker.I spoke to the customer who said the fridge has been working fine for the past few days.
Before the fridge origionally shut down and defrosted they said it got noisy and the noise would stop when you opened the door. Im wondering that as it had the common ice build up around fan problem, if it could have frozen the fridge sensor causing the resistence reading to go out of range and throwing up the sensor fault code and shutting down the fridge. Can this happen? Just guessing!

    Re: Lux Stat

    Anyone please??
I replaced the grill element on this oven and this little cut out/ cooling fan cycling stat (i think) fell apart as it was held on by the nut that screws onto the stud of the grill element. I cant find any description of it anywhere.

    Thanks Andy.
I think I may need the part that’s located in the door too.
Can anyone give me some info on replacing these before I go back?
Do I have to remove the side panels to get the hinge bar out. As I said they don’t seem to lift out. I only had time for a quick look when I was there.
    Thanks

    Hi,
In my experience with these ff’s, if the heater and thermal fuse is ok and it keeps icing up then a new rear board is needed.

Re: Whirlpool Side by Side FF

Mmmmm! Thought this would have been straight forward.
It’s been documented on here in the past about wether to change one or both boards depending on the date code. The problem is that I have seen different opinions on what this date is. In the past I’ve always gone by anything after 110330 which is 2003 week 30 only the one board needs replacing. Before that date both need to be replaced. It’s just that I’ve never had to change one on anything older than a 2004 model.
Anyone know the correct date for sure?

    Thanks
