    Hi, i am surprised that this problem was highlighted in 2005 but if there has been recent threads I cant see them.
    Am I alone in receiving the “your warranty is up on your washing machine” phone calls. If I have a spare 5 minutes I play along.
    they have nationwide coverage with university certified engineers, they will give me a warranty on my maserati washing machine, they will give me a new one if I put a hammer through the door.It doesnt matter if it is not actually working and doesnt matter if its a 40 year old keymatic . £200 for 3 years free new for old if they cant fix it sounds like a bargain to me.

    I have had a couple with broken wires in the [lug going to the motor normally give them a pull and they break

    sorry 40015982 is that the correct number for the thermostat ? nothing on connect. I always just changed the heater assembly but its such a waste of money
    if you can get the thermostats

    no i havent tried it wasnt sure wether it had a flow meter or a pressure switch got to be worth a try

    went out for another look there is a small cut out thermostat above the fan motor which looks like a one shot thermostat which cuts out about 180 ,but somehow
    cuts back in I bypassed it to tryand it worked perfectly, new cut out ordered thanks for the help with this one,

    hi, yes fitted genuine stat oven thermostat and genuine element right next to sensor

    Hi,
    I move the knob to 100 then 150 light goes off i turn it to about 180 it never gets that hot . I can see the element glowing red but beforeit gets to 180 the element goes off the fan motor keeps running and it starts to cool down the knobgoes onto a switch which turns the stat all operatingok.

    spoke to the local rep about an order which wouldnt go through, now i dont know if itsthrough or not, absolutely useless

    could be encased where do you get the reed switches from
