    i would have thought a minor deflection would be preferable to WD40,blow lamps,cold chisels, laying the oven on its back and using a hammer on it.
    To be fair however I have only changed a couple I dont see many of those fancy ovens round here most still setting a fire in the back garden.

    i have never needed to remove the fan to change a half moon element
    i just deflect rhe fan slightly.

    another friday came and went and no part phoned up the jokers at connect who claims surprise surprise i will get it this friday.
    left a message with their rep at 9.30, at 3.30 he finally phoned back at 3.30, a complete waffler call phil penson,
    waste of oxygen, i have never heard such bullsh*t in my life
    the customer has gone to argos and bought a bush, they just dont get it at connect you cant expect a customer to wait a month to get a washing machine fixed, he has now sent me a bullsh*t email completey contadicting what he said on the phone,

    i hate connect i have had an undesit doot lock C00272452 on order for over a month every friday when its due that week they just change the due date to the following week.

    thanks very much its the usual story hassling customer “when you coming” get me a price then once you have quoted no commitment they will be off to espares to buy one hope they forget to pull the plug out. its fur coat and no knickers.

    i would try a pressure switch but whatever made the original board go faulty could have damaged the new board.
