i was waiting for a plethora of sarcastic comments here with many whitegooders having had bad experiences with hoover work in the past,
i have always beeen a supporter of the hoover product so i sent off an email expressing intrest,
imagine my disapointment when they did not even have the decency to acknowledge the receipt of the email.

all these oph models have the selector mounted on the board,
it means instead of a fiver fo a new selector and you do a repair
or 50 quid and the customer struggles along with it.

connect have triple valves pattern and genuine for the hotpoint washer dryer which wouls suit just make sure that the dryer valve is in the same place.

i think you are off on the wrong track,
if it isnt making any noise then i would suggest the rocker switch for the spinner lid is faulty or needing adjusted ,
back panel off, look for a white rocker switch with 2 wires going to it. check the switch operation or bypass it temporarily to try it,
even if the spin can was seized it would still empty the water away.
