    Re: Bosch SGS53C02GB flood protection

It’s bang in the middle. The top of it is the mushroom like thing inside the d/w.

Worth checking there is nothing stuck under that and that it moves up and down freely 😉

Re: BOSCH F/F will not run in garage

There is only one answer, get it back inside.

The s/w you refer to does not override anything, it simply leaves the lamp on half power when the door is closed to try and warm the stat up a bit.

However if the ambient temp of the garage is very low then the s/w will do diddly squat I’m affraid.

Please do not bypass anthing as you are only going to cause more problems. Power off please when doing anything :zap:

    Good grief.

I’ve heard it all now. I can’t believe you would risk doing that to avoid paying a call out charge :rolls:

Re: RS21 Watchdog. 5 Year NO or Replacement YES! SIMPLE STEP

Why is it only in whitegoods that if a product fails for whatever reason, then people jump up and down for a replacement.

I’ve had cars that have gone wrong more than once under warranty, as have I suspect alot of other people. I didn’t go back to the dealer and demand a new car.

No I let them fix it 😉

Better still buy a proper “American” fridge freezer instead.

Re: Bosch HBN2820GB/02 Part and fitting advice

Part no. is 480484. If it is indeed the element that is o/c.

With this particular model the oven will have to be removed from it’s housing as access is required from front and back.

Power off please before doing anything :zap:

Sorry I can’t give out wiring or technical advice. See rule 7 and 8.
