might explain the sudden increase in jobs from JTM to us the beginning of the week.

service is as slow as 6 weeks according to my ex-colleague, their trying to get engineers from the midlands to do 11 calls a day in manc!

listen i have been in the Comms industry, the IT industry and the car industry but these lot have by far been the worst people to work for. period.

where can i get the resistor from mate, did servis supply you with one

stevie 😆 😆Yes it was a similar incident where water had leaked all the way from the dispenser in the machine on the motor and somehow splashed the board. Had to change motor in the end tho, as it was-a “tick-tick-ticking” and that werent good…
And resistors, can be bought from somewhere like Maplins, or RS. Or Try Here???

Hello there!
I went to a call to a servis with the same fault as yours, and as our other guys say, Was the white resistor on the control mod at the back. Very simple to replace, as long as you’re competent and safe with soldering!

hotpoint (note, lower-case “h) are very good at sexing their adverts up when it comes to recruitment, to the point where it verges on the “dodgy” like it did in my case…thats all i’m saying because i will probably have a visit from aristotle merloni and his management equipped with violin cases.
