    I used to WD-40 the Comm, clean it up, wait for dry then change brushes.

    Slow but works 😥

    29 Minutes to fit a 1603410 Drum for WMA
    4 Hours to fit a 1602321 Drum for WD
    50 Minutes to fit a 1603100 Drum for WM

    I Was doing 2 WMA Drums a day, though….
    ANd don’t Laugh at my time for the washerdryer. 😥

    At a guess, have you checked how low the waste-hose is down the standpipe? or is it connected directly to the sink waste? as a former hotpont engineer, was a common problem (im assuming its a new appliance) but i have not worked on this model.

    Yes you can.

    Its quite a farce though. i cannot remember, (i’m a former hotpoint engineer) edit: just realised iadom’s post.

    if its the Wammy 63S im thinking of, with the digi-display, they knacker quite often.

    it Cant be the door lock if the door lock is energised and voltage registering thru…

    order both boards….

    Motor and Module.

    But check the wiring loom for damage, have you checked that the board hasnt got a blown track? have you tried running the test programme?
