Re: Samsung fridge freezer SRL3616B led 5 flashing

    Hello,

I have just answred this in another post.

Common fault is the geared motor not aligning with magnet.

I don’t have the samsung part number to hand but here is an example Connect 5045172161123.

This fault will usually result in 5 LED flash. I would also recomend you replace the yellow evaporator thermistor,

Let me know how you go on?

    Hope this helps?

Do you know how to test the Ice maker module?

I suspect the Module is faulty.

Providing the obvious have been checked like

    *Water turned on!
*Water tube from Valve is not brittle, leaking and tipping onto floor!

    Etc?

    Just tried it for you

    Type “liebherr atea” into ebay
    Ensure you tick worldwide box
Ensure you tick “include titles and description”

It came up with a lot of Liebherr stats

You could also try a model search into http://www.ebay.de

    Re: liebherr fridge thermostat

    Hello,

Liebherr (COOLETRIC) prices are a rip off. £5 stats for £80 simply beacuse they are model specific cut-in / outs OEM.

With Ranco Stats, I buy from German Ebay site. Last Liebherr stat was priced at £66+VAT from Cooletric – Bought OEM from Germany €22+Carriage (€6).

Try google/ebay search (include (check box) worldwide if looking on ebay))

    Any help?

    Re: Samsung Rl36EBNS

    Hello,

Common overlooked fault with these is the baffle geared motor cannot align. So the unit shuts down.

Don’t have the Samsung part no. to-hand but the connect code is 5045172161123.

If it is the deforst heater. Usually what happens is the appliance freezes and cools but when it enters an auto-defrost the appliances tays off until the yellow evap sensor reaches room temp.
Swithcing the appliance off at the mains for 15 secons will re-set the ROM on the main ECU/Module and the unit fires back into life.

    Hope this helps>?

    Re: SCHRIBER APM 6855 F/F

    Yes a Common Problem

If the evap is full of Hoar Frost:

    Disconnect the Power from Mains
    Re-connect the Power
If the heater fails to heat up or the compressor kicks in
You can be 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure it is the Evap Sensor – Oddly Named “radiator probe” by Connect

By the way, I think the:

Samsung Sensor DA32-00006W is the same resistance/voltage

You can splice a new Sensor into place. Make sure you solder/heat shrink or both.

    Thanks.

    I totally agree re TAT

I guess there is no way of putting that to a Warranty customer!

Thanks very much for your reply.

I have been looking for the sensor for ages on connect. Pity they don’t list it as “hall sensor”

    Thanks again

Fridge or freezer defrost heater R600a?

I know about the board fuse mod. But the fuse blows with nothing connected.
