    Worn bearings on these machines can definitely cause no spin.

    City & Guilds 7202 Level 1 is a good place to start.
    This will give you the basics & will lead onto other courses which you can tailor to suit your needs. Predominately moving to a qualified Electricians status…

    Do you mean 85 Mohms or 85 ohms?
    I would try changing the door lock first as they can do weird things on this range.
    Assuming the element isn’t 85 ohms.

    I’ve always gone on;
    Lights 2 & 4 = element.
    No lights = module.

    I would change the motor as well if I was you. (The bit the heater is connected to)
    I’m not saying its causing your fault but it will be on its way out…

    That’s what I reckon, he’s trying to cover it by saying it was when he switched his circuit breaker back on. Which unless it was next to the fridge at a crouching height he wouldn’t be near it to take the imapct…

    He said it exploded when he switched the circuit breaker back on and he was crouching down. Wish they had shown when his consumer unit was in relation to the fridge…
