ParticipantRe: ISE5-2 Display times awry?
Yes the relevant neon does blink until start is pressed. Then the relevant neon is steady.

ParticipantRe: ISE5-2 Display times awry?
I’ve got the programme times for you if you need clarification?
prog (1) 2.21
prog (2) 2.32
prog (3) 2.32
prog (4) 1.35
prog (5) 1.21
prog (6) 2.23hope thats enough.
Also when you press start it just starts, no blinking of the lights.
On a wash it starts with just the wash neon on. No others.timdowning

Or intermittent drain pump failure.
Or partial blockage in drain system.
(Wet & Warm) Is that more wet than at the end of the spin?

I would imagine what you have worked out with the valves is normal.
Did you check for blockages in the condenser / hose?
As soon as I read ‘Tenant’ I did think user error. Are you sure the tenant is using it correctly? The tenant is probably only putting it on for 20 minutes. π

ParticipantRe: AW23
From a few posts down;
I have recieved this from a reliable source.
This is from Amica relating P codes so should relate to the AW23.
Regarding error codes βPβ, my colleague tells me itβs not an error, but an info message to state that the control knob has been moved accidentally (ie set on a different program during washing). The washer will continue to wash based on the original program it started on, but then has to be reset before the next wash or the washer wonβt work. Needless to say we will be updating our instructions as this was not included (??!!).
This in Amica manual relating to the P codes.
Signalling the change of the programme selector
If the present position of the knob is different than the recently remembered program, the βPxxβ symbol is indicated on the time display, where xx means the number of the remembered programe. If the position of the knob and the number of the remembered programmed are correct, the time left till the end of the wash is shown on the display.

Well either you’ve got an admirer π
Or
As I have found with most of my ISE10 brigade, they want a pint of blood
from you. They seem to think because they have spent alot on a machine
you now have to provide an even better level of customer care. Fault or no fault.
And to think I can’t get away from them either. Oh well only 8 or 9 years left on the warranty. πtimdowning

ParticipantRe: ISE 5 Mk2 conditioner woes.
How long is it since you ‘seemed to sort it’ ?
If its a while ago you may be worrying over nothing?
You know what customers are like with their ‘ i’ve cleaned it well ‘ .
I would just see Thursday.

I didn’t get it from e-bay by the way. Can’t think where I did get it from.

ParticipantRe: hotpoint wf541g – drum replace advice
Yep sealed tub.
Nice straight forward repair. The 3 i’ve done took about the hour with testing. Only one man required.
I don’t know about hotpoints charges.
I charged Β£158 all in.
p.s. there are probably some engineers on here that can do the job in 15 minutes. :rolls:

Thanks Chris.

ParticipantRe: hi fi repairs…
I repaired one of these many years ago. I’m sure there was a tiny screw near the laser which allowed for adjustment. I’m sure turning the screw caused the laser to raise very slightly allowing better ‘pickup.’
